staff polite and helpful, location great (even a bus stop right outside the entrance). all in all not bad for youngsters.
the main (or, only) drawback is the really thin walls. you may involuntarily get to know more than you wish about the persons next door or who were at the hallway nearby.

Everything is perfect here; from the easy check-in, helpful staffs, super clean & organised rooms and shared bathrooms + well equipped kitchen area, to the most strategic location anyone can ask for. At this price, it is certainly the best deal ever!
I will stay here again if I visit Furano again in the future 😆

Stayed at Furano Tomar, and was really impressed by the lobby. Both the lobby bar and buffet restaurant were very spacious, and the shower and facilities were excellent. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive – definitely a big thumbs up for all of that! I stayed in a standard cabin dormitory, and while everyone was considerate and quiet, the sound of doors opening and closing was quite loud and disrupted my rest. Just a suggestion for improvement there.

About 15 minutes walk from the station. Quiet place. Nearby are a couple of places fir dinner but they close quite early. There's a Lawson opposite. Free laundry and dryer but pat ¥100 for the laundry pod.

Stayed two nights at this hostel. The room was clean and quite spacious. We were a little surprised that we had to put on the bed sheet liners ourselves, but we understood that it is part of the hostel’s culture and regulations, so it was fine for us.
The shared toilets were clean and well maintained for all guests. However, the main disappointment was that the hostel’s air conditioning was not working properly on the second night, unlike the first night. The room became very humid and stuffy, making it difficult for us to fall asleep even after informing the hostel reception.

Perfect stay at Tomar :) the hostel is very clean and well-maintained and close proximity to Furano JR station. Highly recommended.

Nice place, big beds. Good showers and toilets. They provide towels as well. Bed sheets self made. There is washing machine and dryer.
The breakfast downstairs is very simple, not many options, the coffee is ok.

The hostel is centrally located, being a few minutes walk from the train station and bus terminus. There is a communal kitchen for use by hostel guests.
