Furaveri Maldives

Its very peaceful, 40 minutes seaplane from Male. I book beachfront villa with very green gardens. The problem is the check-in process take lots of time.

Kind and helpful staff, very clean rooms

Furaveri exceeded all our honeymoon expectations, delivering 9 blissful days of paradise. From the moment we arrived until the bittersweet departure, our stay was nothing short of perfection. The island radiates cleanliness and care, a testament to the staff's meticulous attention to detail. The warmth, hospitality, and genuine kindness of most of the staff we came across transformed strangers into friends, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts. Special mention goes to our room attendant, Ram, whose dedication and thoughtful gestures added an extra layer of magic to our honeymoon experience. Another wonderful team member was Mahesh at the bar who ensured we were never without a delicious cocktail in hand, accompanying each with delightful conversation. The entertainment shows provided a charming backdrop to our evenings, while the plethora of island activities—snorkeling, kayaking, spa indulgence, and more—ensured we were never bored for a single moment. We would recommend going for the Island Wide Premium All Inclusive package, as it provides a lot of freedom and opens a good few extra opportunities and discounts. The main restaurant served culinary delights for each meal, with a diverse array of cuisines showcased daily. The additional restaurants, Ocean Spice (thank you Rajesh for an incredible experience and lovely conversation!) to Amigos and Raiyvilla, each dining experience was a culinary journey, serving up exquisite flavors that tantalized our taste buds. We stayed at a Beach Pool Villa and would chose the exact same type of accommodation next time as well, it checked every box and even though I think people tend to go for a ocean villa in the Maldives, the comfort of having access to your very own piece of flawless beach won us over. Our honeymoon was truly a dream come true, thanks to the dedication and care of every person who crossed our path. We departed with hearts full of gratitude and memories that will last a lifetime. Beautiful island, staff generally friendly, great Dive Centre and diving but.. You are appointed a Relationship Host on arrival to 'assist' you with booking meals/trips etc (you can't do it through reception or the spa or the restaurants). Ours neglected to tell us there was a power outage shortly after arrival, took 4 hours to respond to a request for a spa booking and along with the rest of the disinterested reception staff, didn't tell us our departure seaplane was an hour later than we were told that morning. We were sat in front of them for over an hour and one had the courtesy or interest to tell us. More seriously, they were hand feeding the reef sharks EVERY night at 5:30 to 'entertain' the visitors. This practice was made illegal in 2021 by their Government. Teaches sharks that humans are associated with a food source. Live Crab racing on the disco dance floor too. Line fishing for tourists who dot eat what the catch. Fish left to suffocate in a dry container.

Wonderful experience in Asian restaurant, the chef Juber and waiter Ahmed was fantastic. The service was very good. The SPA very nice and professional team in special TAI massage. The main restaurant is not aligned with the level of resort.

We are here for our honeymoon. We love the all atmosphere of the hotel and the people are very nice to us. (Especially Zizo) We love the sea and foods are very good.
