Third time in the Maldives and this was the worst experience even though expectations were high for having chosen a more expensive resort than the others. I'll start with the positive things: sea and coral reef. Unfortunately I was really very disappointed about the rest. Every day we found gecko excrement on the bed and the sheets were never changed. The cleaning in the room was summary, the tub was completely yellowed and encrusted. Bird droppings everywhere, never cleaned, even on the mattress on the sun lounger outside the room. At night the high tide had overturned the cushion of the sunbeds and no one ever bothered to fix it. The food at the buffet restaurant wasn't bad but there was little choice, always the same things and very little fish. The manager of the central restaurant is sulky and unhelpful. The worst thing was when we complained and the receptionist told us we could leave a bad review. Not a dollar discounted for the barbecue dinner (cost 130 dollars extra for all inclusive) cold and with very little choice, considering that the next day we found the same type of dinner at the central restaurant. Gym with two pieces of equipment, old and unhinged. Tennis court covered in bird droppings. The edge of the pool full of chipped tiles that also cut my friend's little girl. Sufficient village maintenance. Ah, another positive thing: the Balinese massage, thanks to the excellent therapist. What can I say, I absolutely would not return especially due to the rudeness of the staff, especially at the reception (Shaily). It's a shame because the resort has great potential but is really poorly managed.

Отдыхали в отеле с 15.09.2024 по 25.09.2024. Жили в beach pool villa 509. Прямо из виллы отличный пологий вход в океан, но встречаются кораллы, поэтому лучше купаться в коралловых тапках. На риф плавали с основного пляжа, видели ската, акул, и других рыб)). Питание было IWPAI. К питанию ни акаких нареканий нет, все вкусно и разнообразно(ну может завтраки слегка приелись))). Посетили ресторан средиземноморской кухни, все было очень вкусно. Для пакета IWPAI делают скидку в 40$ с человека. Немного подкачал обратный трансфер, но тут конечно не вина отеля, а скорее местного перевозчика. На регистрацию попали за 5 минут до ее окончания. В целом все очень понравилось и я думаю мы сюда еще вернемся.

Our Family have booked Furaveri for the second time this year. We had a fantastic time in March 2024 and were looking forward to returning. Now we wish we had chosen a different resort for our November vacation. We have learned that the All Inclusive packages will change before we arrive in November. But we booked several months ago and paid the bill in full based on the expectation that we would receive the same experience and standard of food and drinks. BUT After booking they have changed the rules! No longer can we enjoy a set menu in the a la carte restaurants as part of the package. All we will receive is a $40 credit which will not cover starter or dessert. Only a main course meal. This has made us upset and disappointed. I am also concerned that drinks available will not be as good. Last time we enjoyed many cocktails and premium drinks. Are these taken away too? Will we receive sparkling wine in our mini-bar? Has that been cancelled? The management have broken their promises and contracts with loyal customers. If you book a certain level of accommodation or food and have paid in full then the resort must honour this. This is not good customer service! It seems they are only interested in making profit. I will be speaking to my travel agent to request moving to a different resort where they are honest and true and value their guests. Furaveri - you have been dishonest!

The resort is very well maintained and the island is beautiful surrounded by lots of marine life. Rooms are great and the service is also upto the mark. We also completed a beginner scuba diving with the Diveclub located at the resort. Hazim from the Diveclub relived us from the anxiety and helped us overcome our fear of water. It’s a must do when you are in Maldives
