Mode Hotel Lytham

Anther great visit to Mode, brilliant location right on the square, very convenient self check in, literally in unpack and back out in minutes. We stayed in 205 which is a corner room facing the side street but also can see the sea from other window, we weren’t affected by any noise late at night, nice breakfast in a bag with croissant, various spreads, fruit, yogurt and fresh juice just right for us. Had a right good little break away ✨

An fabulous place to stay! Vicky was an absolute gem! very welcoming and gave some great recommendations for places to eat!. The room was great! very cosy, clean, and modern. We upgraded to a sea view room, which was lovely, shame the weather wasn't but not much the hotel can do about that 🤷🏻‍♂️. Bed was biiiiiiiig and comfy. Bathroom was clean too, shower temp could have been a warmer, but no biggy tbf. Continental breakfast was fine too. All in all a fabulous stay. Fully recommended! We will be back.🙂

Great boutique hotel in a great location to Lythams bars, restaurants and shops.

I did not receive information on how to access the key boxes outside the hotel (though this was likely due to my company's booking agent not passing on the information, so probably not the hotel's fault). However, I was left outside in the pouring rain for a considerable time before gaining access to the hotel. The room had an electrical fault (I think related the system which turns the electricity off when there is no card in the slot by the door). This meant that every couple of minutes the electricity to the room cut out, then came back on after a few seconds. As a result I was unable to watch television (by the time the TV re-booted the electricity would cycle off / on again). Eventually, I just took the card out of the slot and sat in the dark. I think working electricity would be a minimum requirement for a hotel stay. The 'breakfast' provided was very poor.

I've been lucky enough to stay in countless hotels and apar**ents across the globe and this one is top drawer. It's easy to see why the great reviews. Staff super helpful with the booking. They did a lot of calling and emailing to sort the stay. Really pleasant main switchboard support agent! The room is spacious. Huge TV. Massive comfy bed. Spotless. Lots of attention to detail. Decor super modern; must be recent refurbishment. Minimal style bit everything is high quality. Pro coffee machine in the room as well as instant coffee. Dressing gowns. Heater / dehumidifier. Even great fitting ornaments. Quality bedding and curtains. Very tasteful. Great location also. Central Lytham. Would highly recommend!! Oh nearly forgot the 2x breakfast take out or eat in goody bags. Simple but full bag Inc quality orange juice, yoghurt, cereal bar, croissant, apple... Nice touch x

The room was smaller than we were expecting for a deluxe room and the furniture made it gloomy. When there was no one at reception to help me at 10.30 am on Saturday I called their 24/7 number and got a message that they were dealing with another customer. I query whether or not that was true. I was standing in reception and heard the phone ring. After being asked to wait I was disconnected. I eventually went looking for someone and found a woman in the dining room to help me. We stayed at the hotel to attend a wedding at 3 pm on Saturday. When I went to shower and wash my hair at 1.30 the water was tepid, not even warm. I had a very unpleasant experience. I'm afraid I won't be back

A great hotel in a great location to everything local of Lytham. There are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. We ate at Spago and Olive tree brasserie and would recommend both of these restaurants.
