I stayed two nights at Palazzo Daniele in June, I also went to the restaurant the year before - 2022. Lovely place, certainly aesthetically impressive, kind staff. it seemed to me that the cuisine was not up to the perceived target of luxury hotels. the menu is ok, the raw materials are good, but the dishes are not tasty. some of the prices are out of proportion. the staff is friendly but was not ready on the dishes (the menu is short, and in any case it did not change during the two dinners a year apart). the rooms are certainly impressive in size but they have defects such as the acoustics (you can hear everything from the corridors), the lighting (impossible to put on make-up or get dressed in the evening, trivially unpacking your suitcases) and in the case of my room the absolutely not up to date bathroom. height (old and very small shower, like 70x70cm, for a room costing €1000 per night is not adequate). There is no fridge in the room, the one in the common "kitchen" was turned off, they didn't change our bottles of water for two nights/three days. In summary I see the intent, the desire to stand out, the "form"; I don't find an adequate reflection in the substance. It has the potential of being an oasis from which you don't leave for the entire time of your stay, but in my opinion the service is not complete or up to the standard of other structures in Puglia that are equally beautiful - but also less expensive - which make you feel welcome, pampered and who anticipate your needs.
