Gairloch Hotel 'a Bespoke Hotel'

The staff were absolutely phenomenal and all so welcoming. Top rate service all the way. Food was ok for dinner and breakfast. The room was really spacious and clean. Only thing that was maybe a downside was the mattress was very old.

Great hotel, spectacular views and the staff can't do enough for you. Stayed for 5 nights including a wedding. The wedding was fabulous the staff were amazing couldn't have gone better. Warm, welcoming hopefully be back before the end of the year easily 5 stars.

We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. It didn't get off to the most auspicious start - our allocated room wasn't as clean as we would have liked. That was surprising given that during our stay we found the general standards of cleanliness in the hotel very good. But it was also rather frayed round the edges and quite small for a couple (room 207) . However, the staff dealt with this very well, were not at all defensive and we were offered an alternative room which was very acceptable. This is an older hotel so it's not the most streamlined. However, there do seem to be improvement works going on so it should get even better, I would think. The hotel is very well run, management seems to be hands on and the staff, regardless of age, are very efficient and pleasant. It is popular with coach parties and was busy when we were there but that just enhanced the atmosphere. The food is pretty good (although the hake was a bit dry when my wife had it) if not spectacular. Given the numbers being catered for, it's more than acceptable. It was an excellent base for touring around the area. We would go back,

We had a lovely room with double aspect plus large dressing room and bathroom. We also had a sea view which was lovely. Staff very friendly. We ate at the hotel and found prices very reasonable E. g a bottle of red wine at £20. Old Victorian building not everyone's cup of tea but we liked it.

Thank you for a lovely stay. Our sea view room was large, really clean and had a bath as well as a walk in shower, beautiful views. We had evening meal each night, great choice and was delicious as was breakfast. We had our wee mini dachshund who was also made very welcome. All staff were brilliant and made us feel, very welcome, can’t wait to come back for another visit.

Friendly hotel with stunning views. Good clean and comfy room. No phone or safe but everything else you could need or want. The staff go out of their way to be helpful. Excellent food and plenty of it. Wonderful base for touring the beautiful north of Scotland, including Route 500.

Two night stay as part of coach trip. Staff gave a friendly welcome, we arrived in a gale and left in another storm, thank fully the roof stayed on the hotel and the outlook was stunning across the bay. Our room was comfortable with new windows on the front of the hotel. It hadn’t been that long painted but a few historic markings coming through but you can’t expect perfection on a building of its age. Bathroom was a build on in the room from some time ago, compact with shower. Bar and public areas all fresh, clean and comfortable seating choices all overlooking the bay. Restaurant to side of hotel, we were on the coach limited dinner menu which was still adequate with good service. Breakfast is fully buffet with lots of choice on the hot buffet plus yoghurts, cold meats, cereals etc, you shouldn’t leave hungry.

Saturday night,a busy night at the hotel,Great live music & Brilliant bar &waiting staff ordered a pizza after 8 o'clock it was no problem to the kitchen this was a takeout meal which was perfect when we arrived home,Fantastic all day menu to eat in takeaway a much needed asset to the village of Gairloch would highly recommend as a local resident in Gairloch .

Nice hotel. Lovely, friendly staff in all areas - reception, waiting staff, housekeeping and maintenance. Nice food. Wonderful views from My room. TV didn’t work. Apparently this affects about half of the hotel. As my view was so good it didn’t really matter to me. Plug in heater in the room which was needed at this time of year. I would go back to this hotel if just for the views
