Booked a two bedroom suite for 4 people (2 adults/2kids) through the Marriott Bonvoy app. Upon arrival, we were told that the rate we booked was only allowed for single occupancy. Although the rate, room type, and occupant details were correctly entered when booking, they said they could not honor the rate provided through THEIR app. They told be the best they could do was a veteran rate for $70/night. Never have I had this happen at a Marriott property and I stay 70+ nights per year. Can’t believe they allow this to happen and wait until you arrive to try to add such an upcharge.
