We stayed here in June when it’s low season so it’s not crowded. Staff was super friendly and the pool size is huge facing the sea. In June the waves are really rough so can’t go swim in the ocean. Breakfast and Dinner was amazing, hotel restaurant manager and staff’s service was exceptional. Our room was facing the sea so we get to wake up seeing the ocean. Room was very clean, the only thing is there are lots of spider babies around the sink and closet, also some tiny ants around, everything else is really good. We will definitely come again!!

The experience of staying at Jetwing Lighthouse is perfect. This hotel is located in Galle, Sri Lanka, facing the vast Indian Ocean and has amazing views. I stayed in a room facing the sea, which is not only spacious and comfortable, but also has a small garden. It is a wonderful enjoyment to sit at the desk by the window every day to work, or to enjoy the endless beauty of the sea in the garden. The background of the hotel is also worth mentioning. It was designed by Geoffrey Bawa, a famous Sri Lankan architect, and is one of his important works in his late period. Bawa cleverly combines traditional and modern elements to seamlessly connect architecture with nature. The main staircase of the hotel was designed by an artist, depicting the historical scene of Sinhalese warriors resisting Portuguese invasion, full of cultural and artistic atmosphere. The beach where the hotel is located also surprised me. There are rich and diverse shells on the beach, which is very suitable for people like me who like to pick up shells. The restaurant is reasonably priced, even more cost-effective than the restaurants in the ancient city. Whether it is breakfast or dinner, it feels great value for money. Overall, Jetwing Lighthouse Hotel is very cost-effective, whether it is the environment, service or price, it is satisfactory. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again in the future.

The most recommended hotel near Gala, Bawa's last work. No need to go to the spa wing, the main building is good, great for watching the waves

We booked this hotel because we were looking for Bava's design works. The overall artistic style of the hotel is good, but the service details need to be improved. We had agreed with the front desk to check out at 1 o'clock, but the waiter came to the door of the room 15 minutes in advance to take the luggage away, and the communication with the waiter was not very smooth. My friends were very unhappy. Ctrip helped to communicate with the hotel and it was solved satisfactorily. This time, we booked a room for 4 nights on Ctrip, but we were given the last room every time. I hope they can pay attention and give us some rooms in the right position. It takes about 3 minutes to walk to the hotel lobby. Apart from the service, the design style of the hotel is still worth experiencing.

This is the most satisfying hotel in the entire trip. The sea view is amazing, the room is large and quite new, the sunset on the hotel's terrace restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and it is not far from the old town of Galle, not far from 3 kilometers.

The room is a little old, the hygiene is a little sloppy, and there is still some dust in some places in the bathroom. However, the room is really damp!! Also, the hair dryer is really not working❌ The view is really good! It is very comfortable to sit on the balcony and watch the tides! The hotel beach is also great! The breakfast variety is quite rich. The service is OK, and normal requirements can be met.

Finally, we stayed in a hotel designed by Master Bawa. The stairwell is like a magnificent war epic, which is breathtaking. The cliff sea view in the hotel lobby, the light and shadow in the room and the surging Indian Ocean, all become a beautiful painting. The hotel has a very high photo output rate, and every photo is a blockbuster. The next morning, we saw hermit crabs and lizards crossing the grass in a dignified manner. The only disappointment was the dinner in the restaurant. The crabs we ordered were too thin and had no meat at all.

I am most proud of the window in the room, which is very artistic. The hotel has a sense of design and does not look outdated. It is very photogenic. If you are not impressed by the room, you can actually check in, but you don't have to stay. It is 3.3 kilometers away from the old town of Galle.

The hotel designed by Mr. Bawa has a staircase that is a magnificent war epic. The room is very beautiful, facing the Indian Ocean. Although the lobby was under repair when I went there, the service was warm and the sanitation was very clean, but the breakfast was not very rich.
