We had the most amazing stay at the Arctic Gourmet Cabin. The cabins are cozy, comfy bed, beautiful views. We enjoyed relaxing with a sauna and hot top. The 4 course meal with wine pairing was one of the most outstanding meals I've ever had. I highly recommend treating yourself to this experience! also a fabulous spot to see the northern lights!

On our road-trip in Swedish Lapland we stayed with Chef Johan at his lovely cabins. I can’t begin to describe how hospitable he was! The cabins were beautiful and cozy, the sauna was wood fired, the hot tub a perfect temperature, and the shower conveniently located by the sauna. The toilet is a “Cinderella” type, Google it haha, but it was perfectly ok. The property sits along a huge lake/river 30minutes up the road from major hiking. Part of the stay is a private dinner plus a thoughtful breakfast. The dinners were AMAZING. Such attention to detail combined with local and exotic flavors, local meats, perfectly paired wines, and just an unmatched passion for food and cooking. We cannot wait to go back as Johan, his family, and pets were adorable, sweet, and welcoming plus the vibe was 100%. Johan has dedicated his time & home to fulfilling the dream of curating his own take on Swedish cuisine that goes beyond any country border you can think of. Thank you!

My family and I spent a few unforgettable days in Arctic Gourmet Cabins. From the amazing food, to the wonderful views and the peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside, it was a pure pleasure to be there. We began our evenings with a short swim, followed by a hot tub, sauna and shower. Suitably relaxed, we sat outdoors, around an open fire, and enjoyed a few glasses of wine. We then sat down to a fabulous meal with some of the best wines that I have tried (we choose the wine package, which I would highly recommend). Johan is an gourmet chef and was able to perfectly match his wonderful food with perfect wines. If you would like to experience the north of Sweden and enjoy truly great food and wine, prepared by your very own chef, then this is the place to be.

It was a very nice stay!! The property owner was very nice and is a great chef!! Kinda sad that we didn’t get a chance to try his dinner but if we come back in the future we definitely will!!!!!! 110/100 would recommend :D

Wow! We had a wonderful stay here! The cabin was cozy and we loved that the hot tub and sauna were just a few steps away. Having Johan cook you dinner is a must. He is a very talented chef and a great host. We thoroughly enjoyed everything he put on the plate as well as the wines that he paired. The reindeer with Gorgonzola sauce was amazing - see photo. If you’re lucky, Johan may even share some of his secrets in the kitchen. Malin was very helpful with arranging a great dog sled experience and assisted with transfers, logistics, etc. They made everything very easy and enjoyable.

We stayed for one night on our final night of the trip. The cabin was perfectly clean, comfy bed, warm. Tv & wifi. All the home comforts. The best part was the dinner in the evening prepared and presented by host and professional Chef Johan - only space for two couples in a small cabin surrounded by snow. The food and wine pairing was absolutely excellent and totally worth the money. We felt so well looked after and it was a truly exclusive experience. A night and memories we will cherish, thank you!

Beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c'est !! Une petite chambre étroite, mal entretenue pour le prix payé et même pas les toilettes et douche individuelle... Au minimum il devrait y avoir un WC privé pour ce prix. Accueil très sympathique par le propriétaire, mais par contre jamais aperçu sa femme (qui est pourtant présentée comme étant la sommelière (vin). Nous avons pris un repas le premier soir, très bon, mais là aussi bien trop cher. Service assez long (mais ce n'est pas trop grave). Lorsque l'on regarde quelques détails sur le côté où les plats sont préparés, on se rend bien compte que l'hygiène n'y est pas, les déchets débordent, bouteilles de vin vides, saleté... ça ne donne pas envie. Pour le petit déjeuner, on se sert de ce qu'il y a, correct, mais là aussi pour le prix, il pourrait faire quelques plats sur commande: omelette ou autres préparations personnelles. L'endroit est sympa, quoique assez éloigné de Kiruna. La même chose mais avec un prix en dessous d'un tiers serait acceptable (logement et nouriture) mais il reste le problème de la propreté, et visiblement ce n'est pas "madame" qui s'en occupe vu qu'elle n'est pas présente ! Comme vous pouvez vous en douter, nous ne reviendrons vraiment pas ici...

...and prepare for a once in a life time experience. Johan is as genuine and down to earth as you can get. He let's his cooking and passion do the talking, but at the same time, he is very social and educating during the dinner. The food was outstanding and the icing on the cake for us, was the amazing northern lights that danced for us after the dinner. We will forever remember that night i February. An amazing experience!You just have to go!
