Hampton by Hilton Hotels in Galveston County

Only problem was that husband’s medical procedure at UTMB was cancelled with no notification so we were stuck with one night’s charge because I had to pay ahead of time—won’t do that again!

When we first arrived I was a little sceptical because the hotel outside was a little worn and the fence around it lead me to feel like I was in an unsafe place to where they have to lock you in. But as I went inside and around the hotel I settled down and took it all in. It wasn't so bad, the room was clean and my children really enjoyed the balcony. The front desk clerk that checked us in went above and beyond to make sure we settled in nicely. I also loved the convenience of having a Walmart literally in the hotels front door and fast food places in walking distance. No need for travel, which is a plus for me. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would return again.
