Construction going on,didnt let us know.pool was closed no hot tub working.maintanance didnt let us know.only 2 towels in room never had less than 3 anywhere.fire alarm went off 11:00 at night.but they did comp our parking.they charge 16 dollars to park yourself.

Environment: Very good, just across the road from the seaside, with all kinds of shops around

Tips: Those with balconies are facing the sea sideways, and the floor positions are not ideal. It is recommended to have a high-rise sea view room. Although there is no balcony, a front view of the Gulf of Mexico is still very good.
Evaluation: The front desk service is very good, the hotel parking building 2F directly leads to the front desk, the room facilities are complete, the sanitation is good, the Lexington aircraft carrier is 5KM away from the aircraft carrier, and the South Texas Art Museum designed by Philip Jensen is within walking distance. I stayed at this location, Hilton Galveston, for 2 weekend nights in June 2024. The stay was perfect from check-in to checkout. The staff was courteous and efficient, the access to the beach is excellent, with chairs for rent, and many dining options within walking distance. The pool is beautiful with a swim up bar in the adult only section. There is a daily list of hotel calendar events to enjoy with your family. The onsite breakfast buffet includes a freshly made omelet station and many other selections. There is ample parking close to the entrances and the valet is very friendly. I would recommend this location and look forward to my next getaway. Craig Fleming

The Hilton Galveston Island was just what I needed as a quick weekend getaway. The staff was inviting and attentive, the room was beautiful with large windows and a great view of the beach which is within walking distance, and there are many nearby options for dining. The pool is the perfect place to unwind and relax with a swim up bar and plenty of options for seating. I will not stay anywhere else on the island and look forward to my next getaway. PD

If the front desk gave wrist bands, it would save Gina the bartender from having to send your guests halfway across Egypt to get their IDs. Yes im 30 and I dropped $400+ dollars for a room and I expect to be able to drink without having to jump through hoops. I expect this from a 2star hotel.

My sister and I went for a little getaway and this was the perfect spot for it. It was right across from the beach 🏖️! They also had a heated pool with a swim up bar which was amazing! The room was spacious, welcoming, and clean. We will definitely be back in the future.

My husband and I stayed at this property June 18th through June 20th. While our trip didn't have the successful outcome we had hoped for, I wanted to take the time to acknowledge the amazing front desk and maitinece staff especially since we were traveling with our German Sheppard Rockwell. We booked the signature suite and the room exceeded our expectations, spacious clean and comfy. Maitinece even helped us get into the bedroom portion of the suite when we locked our selves out of it. Unfortunately during our stay Galveston experienced a torrential rain event from a tropical system in the gulf. As a result, several rooms including ours experienced leaks in the windows from the excessively heavy rain fall. The front desk was quick to send maitinece to address the issue but nothing really could be done. There were no other suites to move to so we elected to leave early. The front desk manager was very helpful in getting us a refund for the nights we didn't stay and discounted the ones we did. While our trip didn't go as expected, we were so blown away by the excellent service we received that we will happily return to this property in the future, and look forward to that day. Thanks again yall for helping us out when the chips were down.
