Some of the employees are not good. One of the front lady manager like extremely bad.
She lied to me, for the easy question to her colleague about breakfast. Which was stated on the website I supposed to pay 15 or 22 to have breakfast.
It looks like the rule was changed they said no. but other guy told me during check-in , I’m going to pay 15 to have breakfast.

Super disappointing. We thought this would be nicer than one of the business class hotels further north, but it is not. It is nothing like what you would expect from a Doubletree. It's very old, elevator is broken, no real amenities, and our room stinks BADLY of mildew. I get that it is a beach town, so humidity is an issue, but I had no issues with mildew smell at the newer business hotel up the sea wall. I will never stay here again!

This is at best a 2 star hotel. The location is great but they tried to put lipstick on a pig. It had an interior wall thermostat that didn’t connect with the exterior wall AC unit. The elevator and carpets were filthy, you could see the plywood base and screws under the mattress in the corners but worst of all the mildew, dusty and rusty lampshades were disgusting. The fridge door was rusted and the walls looked damp/possible mildew up above the exterior door to balcony.

Great hotel on the seawall! The location is great! Sat on the balcony overlooking the water! Hotel was clean and it looked like they had remodeled the hotel lately! Service was awesome too, especially Jesse Thomas from the front desk. He was very personable and helpful! Thank you Jesse for making our stay even more memorable!

The property is across the street from the beach but the area around is really run-down. The rooms need to be renovated, beds need new mattresses, 3rd floor smelled like cigarettes, pool never had clean towels, and there is only one elevator. We waited a long time in a elevator line to get to our room. Friendly staff but property feels dingy.

Weekend Break
Bathroom needs serious overhaul/update. Shower handle broken and mould around tub. Hair conditioner dispenser broken. Linen and bed comfortable. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.
