The hotel room was filthy. Dirty and stained carpet, stain on bed spread, and moldy/dirty shower curtain. The smoke detector was missing and had wires hanging from the ceiling. I would not stay here again and will never recommend. The room was way over priced. Inside and outside were in poor condition.

In March of this year (2023) my wife and I booked and sailed on a Princess cruise through Vacations to Go .The agent was great . However naively booked us pre cruise overnight in the most horrendous “motel” I’ve ever had the misfortune to visit in my entire long life . Pictures online at the website for this place don’t even come close to being an accurate depiction of the horror that awaits the unsuspecting traveler . Even a supervisor at Vacations agreed she would never book anyone there . When we arrived tired after our flight and shuttle from Houston we found this “establishment” had been turned into a motel that housed transients for $1000 monthly. Police were actually arresting and forcibly removing residents of the “motel” as we arrived and attempted to check in , the room in question was filthy, unkempt , bug infested and broken down with live and dead roaches all over , rusted and broken windows and AC , missing fixtures, stained walls, lamps and carpet, pickup trucks full of garbage in the parking lot , dead barbecues outside from residents and much much more… It was unquestionably and absolutely the most disgusting and dangerous place I’ve ever been booked in in my many many years of traveling professionally worldwide … I wrote to the rep who booked us even before our cruise and requested a full refund for the nights booking which we fled from immediately. We refused to stay due to the conditions at this roach motel hellhole and we incurred increased expense to get us the hell out of there immediately and find someplace safe and clean to stay before our intended cruise . We even were treated to a violent domestic partnership dispute on departure with a woman being chased screaming about the property by her abusive boyfriend and her screaming daughter until police were called yet again … FAIR WARNING, DO NOT BOOK HERE DO NOT STAY HERE , FIND SOMEPLACE ELSE . ALL THE PICTURES AND DESCRIPTIONS OF THIS AWFUL PLACE ARE LIES

Beware, nothing like the pictures. Choice hotels should be ashamed, and this place should be condemned. roach infested, peeling paint on most of the walls, no smoke detectors, wires hanging from the ceiling, brown water, torn and moldy shower curtain, non-working toilet, huge holes in multiple walls, big gap between floor and walls all the way around the room, big gap between door and door frame, no safety lock on door, no refrigerator, coffee maker, or breakfast, broken tv that would not shut off, change channels or go up or down in volume, the stairs were rusted out and uneven, the icemaker was full of mold, the ac was propped up on a piece of wood, was filthy and the air smelled like mold. There were piles of trash and junk outside many rooms. When I first arrived, the key I was given was for a room that was already occupied and every day I had to ask to reset my key because it would not work. The only good thing was the young receptionist was really nice and helpful, but she stated on day 2 that she was glad it was her last week because she could not take working there anymore. I was disgusted throughout my stay and if there had been an opening anywhere, I would have immediately moved.

As a choice employee I can not believe the conditions of this establishment. Bed was filthy along with the sheets, no mattress cover, and the roaches!!! We weren’t even there for less than five minutes and killed ten German Roaches!!! They crawled all over our towels and were inside the cable box. I went to front desk to show them the pictures of the room condition and they didn’t even care to look and wouldn’t give me a refund because i had checked in at 2! I’m 9 months pregnant and am disgusted by this place. NEVER come here

I wish there were sad or angry faces available for no-star reviews. This place is a hell hole. I’m not being rude, dramatic, or abusive. It smelled like burning chemicals. I couldn’t breathe in the room. Perhaps, it was the black mold, and ***** had been smoked or cooked in the room. There were big chicks of black, syrupy-looking goo on the walls. I didn’t take photos of those. In the few minutes I was inside the room, just long enough to pull up Uber, order a car, take photos and leave, I was bit several times because there were flying insects of wide varieties in the room. June Big’s on the floor, no baseboards, holes in sheetrock, the space hasn’t been cleaned with a good cleaning since the 1970s. People are renting rooms. Tenets are unwell, they may be friendly, but they are high as hell and drunk, too. Likely a location for drug and human trafficking. Hair and cigarette burn marks on bedding, The place needs to be torn down. Rode way needs to pull its franchise name. Horrendous. The staff was beyond friendly, which is the ONLY redeeming quality of this motel.

Checked in- bed had not been changed- hair, fluid stains, didn’t even try to straighten the mattress cover. Which was too small with a large fluid stain covered by a towel. Soap scum in tub. Scrappy useless furniture such as an old mini fridge balanced on a too small night stand, a rickety closet void of doors or so much as a rack to hang clothes in. Tar stained hands of the guy who gave me two fitted sheets to change the bed myself and no clean blanket. Heavy smell of ********* from rooms on each side, jacked up door and air conditioner. No ice no coffee no breakfast. Other side of hotel looked more updated but just don’t know. Don’t usually complain but I’ve stayed in frame tents out in the field that were nicer than this trash dive. The paint job was interesting- just paint around objects or just don’t finish. Not worth the money they charged. Had several more pictures but limited on posting.

When we arrived and went to the room, it was horrible. You pull up into trash in the parking lot and up to the room. Brown condensation coming from the AC onto the sidewalk by your door. You walk in and it immediately smelt like mold. Missing baseboards, holes in the bottom of the wall, dark and dreary room and the bathroom was nasty. There is no way anyone should spend any money at the place. We went directly to the office and refused to stay there. We went to a different place.

This place is absolutely awful. Sheetrock broken and mold on the walls. No baseboard in places. Door jam broken. Room smelled bad. No breakfast, even though advertised. Television did not work. This is not a safe or clean place to stay.
