To celebrate my father's 98th trip around the sun, we chose this wonderful property. Beginning with the reservation process speaking to Tim, reassures me that our rooms would be connecting to make sure we are within earshot should he need anything. Tim arranged for our rooms with an excellent view. All rooms by the way face OUT to the pool, beach area and gulf. Connie was very sweet to my Dad especially at check-in. Accommodations are spotless. We were pleasantly surprised with our service dog's complimentary bowls, bedm toy and little towe for her paws.. They spread rose petals on my dad's bed in his room. There is a private pet park secured with a security code for hotel and condo guests, well lit for the evenings, next to the tennis and pickle ball courts. A short ride down the elevator to the ground level and plenty of security to make you feel safe at any hour of the day or night. It was a longer than expected drive from the DFW area, but we finally made it in time to unwind and enjoy a casual dinner at Blake's Bistro with excellent service. Stolling about the pool area afterwards was pleasant, and quiet. Some guests were in the pool near the swim-up bar, or in the hot tub, or enjoying dinner on the patio. Food was amazing, service was amazing and we looked forward to the breakfast buffet the next morning's of our 3-night stay. The pool area has ample towels and towel service is non stop. So is refreshment and food service if you chose. Seemed like the water was a little (over) heated in the main pool but nonetheless enjoyable. If you chose to walk across to the beach, just go out the main front door, down to the end of the block and cross with the light and you are walking on sand within 5 minutes. There are beach chairs and umbrellas to rent from an outside company if you wish. The breakfast buffet is outstanding! Dad didn't want to walk with a plate so he ordered off the menu and chose the "Big Breakfast'. It is that and more! Lunch poolside was awesome. The resort was filming that weekend to update their social media and very respectful of guests dining outside and enjoying the pool. I wish they would have including my Dad! We dined out at a local Greek Restaurant (very authentic which I will review separately) and then the celebrated the official birthday boy on Sunday. Back to the Buffet with everything imaginable on it. All 3 mornings we had a server named Aiden. HE IS THE BEST ! The hostess helped set up my Dad's presents for his arrival on Sunday for breakfast and we of course always asked to be seated in Aiden's area. ) This property has a resident bird named Phydias who has been here since 1991 chatting with guests. Outlets for clothing are boutiquey and beautiful. Roxanne and the Manager (didn't get her name) had our Cabana nicely decorated. I arranged with Roxanne the day before by dropping off a few decorations. She ensured the Cabana has easy access for the Dad who used a rented scooter get get around th
