The San Luis Resort and Spa is the best 8n Galveston PIRIOD!!!! Every time I bring my family we always stay here and every time they exced our expectations. All the stuff is very polite, attentive and always want to go the extra mile for you. On this particular trip we came here because it was my daughter's Nationals Dance Competition as well as her birthday and on top of that my wife's and I Aniversary and when I was doing the check-in I mentioned to Connie at the front desk and she suggested it tonnage something n8ce done for my wife and daughter.. Connie and Camille the concierge took care of everything, they got a dozen of red Roses and Strawberrys cover in chocolate for my wife and a birthday cake and small flower bouquet for my daughter and made me look like the best!!! So thank you so much Connie and Camille you guys are great!!. I wanna thank to all th3 Resort stuff too, the Vallet Parking guys whole were always polite, the waitress lady at the pool. Sorry I didn't get there names but they were great too. I recommend this resort very much. I know I might be a little more expensive but I always saybthis " You get what you paid and what's cheaper ends up being a lot more expensive!!"

I would absolutely STAY AWAY from this place! I paid $264 for a gel mani/pedi (with tip). On the pricey side, but it's a spa so why not. Before leaving I mentioned that my nails felt sticky and I was told that was because they needed acetone on them. She put acetone on them and I can assure that was not the reason since they were bubbled later that evening. My person cashed me out at the register and the gratuity was already added in. We were flying out early in the morning and the salon closed right after me the night before. I am never a complainer but that was a lot of money and time to have to have them immediately re-done. I called and left a message the evening of my service, flew home the next morning, and waited for a return phone call. Heard nothing. Called back a day later and was hung up on (caller ID?), called back again and was told they tried to call me but were unable to leave a voicemail the day before (no missed calls or any other voicemails in my voicemail box, so plenty of space in there for theirs). Asked me a few questions and agreed that a refund was appropriate. Well, here we are...my service was Oct. 27, 2025. I finally spoke with them on Oct. 29, 2025. It is now November 20, 2025 and you guessed it...I have NOT SEEN A REFUND. CONSUMER BEWARE!!

This hotel is beautiful from the minute you walk in the front door! The pool area feels like you are at an exotic resort with towels on the chairs and bougainvillea in bloom. The sweet shop serves Starbucks coffee. The bistro restaurant is casual but has very good choices and it was delicious. The lobby bar has nice seating and great drinks. Every room has a beach view!

We have been going to the San Luis Resort since 1999 and this trip was the best! The check in process was made especially great because Danielle worked very hard to make sure we got the exact room we wanted with a few upgraded amenities. The staff is all so friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly clean and nice. The last day we had the hardest working outside server, K. Pinar (I didn’t get her first name) who made it all so fun! The San Luis is a perfect spot for us as we don’t have to travel far and we will be back!

From the moment we arrived at The San Luis Resort + Spa, we were embraced with welcoming smiles as the valet team graciously opened our doors, setting the tone for an unforgettable stay. The front desk staff, especially Eric and his incredible team, were prepared to answer every question and guide us through another magical visit. Coming here every 4th of July feels like returning home to family—there’s simply nothing like it. Dining at The San Luis Steakhouse is always a highlight. Greeted warmly by John Paul and his statement “Welcome Home”, we knew we were in for an outstanding time… and with Carlos as our server, we were treated like royalty. The meal? Absolutely outstanding. Our poolside experience was pure pampering! From the attentive service to the relaxing atmosphere, every detail was perfect. Huge thanks to Jowell and her team including Hannah, Pinar, Kate, Kaleb, Roxy, and Michaela for making sure our cabana, daybed and ALL the amenities were just right. This stay was exactly what we needed—an oasis away from the demands of daily life. Thank you, San Luis family, for making every moment feel like paradise. We can’t wait to return! With gratitude,
