The San Luis Resort and Spa is the best 8n Galveston PIRIOD!!!! Every time I bring my family we always stay here and every time they exced our expectations. All the stuff is very polite, attentive and always want to go the extra mile for you. On this particular trip we came here because it was my daughter's Nationals Dance Competition as well as her birthday and on top of that my wife's and I Aniversary and when I was doing the check-in I mentioned to Connie at the front desk and she suggested it tonnage something n8ce done for my wife and daughter.. Connie and Camille the concierge took care of everything, they got a dozen of red Roses and Strawberrys cover in chocolate for my wife and a birthday cake and small flower bouquet for my daughter and made me look like the best!!! So thank you so much Connie and Camille you guys are great!!. I wanna thank to all th3 Resort stuff too, the Vallet Parking guys whole were always polite, the waitress lady at the pool. Sorry I didn't get there names but they were great too. I recommend this resort very much. I know I might be a little more expensive but I always saybthis " You get what you paid and what's cheaper ends up being a lot more expensive!!"

The hotel was perfect for what we wanted apart from the dark & dreary decoration of the rooms... dark browns, mustard & dark orange colors were not what I expected at a seaside resort! I imagined walking into a light blue or light green room as you'd see in the condos to rent. These colors were just dark & desperately need renovating. The bathroom had seen better days for sure...the bath base looked slightly grubby but it had a raised anti slip mat which often retains a darker appearance & the shower doors were streaked & didn't fit together properly. Basically it was a bit messy & unappealing! However, the facilities were excellent. Balconies are great w/ wonderful views. Club ten level allows a child free zone, which makes it way quieter & offers a free delivered breakfast or a voucher to reduce your breakfast bill @ Blakes Bistro & I believe free valet parking (apart from tips of course!) The restaurants here at The San Luis are excellent. Everything we ate here was delicious but expensive. Service was excellent also & all staff were extremely attentive & friendly.

We had the best time celebrating our 22nd Anniversary. Our stay was spectacular…so much so that we will be making this an official tradition. Our bartender, Victoria was amazing…literally the best service we have ever had. Amazingly smart young lady. Can’t wait to come back. That yall for such a fantastic weekend.

The massage I received at the spa from a girl named navisa was absolutely wonderful. She actually knew what she was doing and released tension in my muscles that I had had for months. I highly recommend anybody getting a massage at the spa, Ask for her!!

Everything was wonderful! The masseuse, Gabby, was extremely good. Not only with her massaging skills, but she was very informative and made me feel even more comfortable with each sentence . For a 5 star business, I believe she made it increase dramatically. Thanks and hopefully I'll be back soon.😍😍

The spa at the San Luis Resort is excellent. Everyone was very nice and helpful from Cindy at the front desk and Kortney the spa attendant to the massage therapist, Shalonda! I plan on coming back for a spa on my birthday later in the year. The hotel is very nice and accommodating! This was my first solo trip and they made me feel right at home and very safe. The valet parking attendants were so very nice. This is definitely a place I will come back and stay at again.

To celebrate my father's 98th trip around the sun, we chose this wonderful property. Beginning with the reservation process speaking to Tim, reassures me that our rooms would be connecting to make sure we are within earshot should he need anything. Tim arranged for our rooms with an excellent view. All rooms by the way face OUT to the pool, beach area and gulf. Connie was very sweet to my Dad especially at check-in. Accommodations are spotless. We were pleasantly surprised with our service dog's complimentary bowls, bedm toy and little towe for her paws.. They spread rose petals on my dad's bed in his room. There is a private pet park secured with a security code for hotel and condo guests, well lit for the evenings, next to the tennis and pickle ball courts. A short ride down the elevator to the ground level and plenty of security to make you feel safe at any hour of the day or night. It was a longer than expected drive from the DFW area, but we finally made it in time to unwind and enjoy a casual dinner at Blake's Bistro with excellent service. Stolling about the pool area afterwards was pleasant, and quiet. Some guests were in the pool near the swim-up bar, or in the hot tub, or enjoying dinner on the patio. Food was amazing, service was amazing and we looked forward to the breakfast buffet the next morning's of our 3-night stay. The pool area has ample towels and towel service is non stop. So is refreshment and food service if you chose. Seemed like the water was a little (over) heated in the main pool but nonetheless enjoyable. If you chose to walk across to the beach, just go out the main front door, down to the end of the block and cross with the light and you are walking on sand within 5 minutes. There are beach chairs and umbrellas to rent from an outside company if you wish. The breakfast buffet is outstanding! Dad didn't want to walk with a plate so he ordered off the menu and chose the "Big Breakfast'. It is that and more! Lunch poolside was awesome. The resort was filming that weekend to update their social media and very respectful of guests dining outside and enjoying the pool. I wish they would have including my Dad! We dined out at a local Greek Restaurant (very authentic which I will review separately) and then the celebrated the official birthday boy on Sunday. Back to the Buffet with everything imaginable on it. All 3 mornings we had a server named Aiden. HE IS THE BEST ! The hostess helped set up my Dad's presents for his arrival on Sunday for breakfast and we of course always asked to be seated in Aiden's area. ) This property has a resident bird named Phydias who has been here since 1991 chatting with guests. Outlets for clothing are boutiquey and beautiful. Roxanne and the Manager (didn't get her name) had our Cabana nicely decorated. I arranged with Roxanne the day before by dropping off a few decorations. She ensured the Cabana has easy access for the Dad who used a rented scooter get get around th
