Grand Galvez Resort, Autograph Collection

We had a lovely time at the Grand Galvez in Galveston. The hotel is beautiful and clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our time and that the hotel is right by the water and within walking distance to the pier, shopping and restaurants.

This was one of the most beautiful hotels on the water! The pool was nice and cool and lit up at night. The rooms were huge. The bathrooms were clean with an amazing shower. Brunch was top notch with unlimited mimosas! Will definitely be back

Hotel and staff are shining examples of Texas hospitality. Pool and pool staff were very nice, clean and accommodating.

Everything about this hotel is enjoyable, from the history, to the pool, to the staff and proximity to the beach. Lily made this stay particularly special for my little girl’s 5th birthday. My daughter has been asking to return to the “pink hotel” for over a year and Lily made her feel like an absolute princess and even wrote her a special birthday card! I have a feeling we’ll be returning every year to make more memories.

Beautiful hotel. The ambiance of the hotel has been kept as original as possible. The walls are covered in a material, not wallpaper. The bedroom was a good size with a lounging area or an area to complete work, if on business. We did not eat in the hotel, so no comment on food or service. The bar had a relaxed atmosphere. You can self park on streets, but most streets around the hotel are permit parking. Valet parking is available, however I never noticed the valet parking area gates closed, leaving the area open & unsecured for anyone to enter. Bathrooms in hotels/motels always appear to be a challenge, this one included. Caulk must be the maintenance people’s friend, unfortunately it attracts mold in wet areas. There was broken/cracked tile going in & out of the shower.

Exceptional service from valet to checkout. Nice rooms. Great atmosphere. The food at The Magnolia was excellent. The pool and hot tub area was clean. This was a great weekend and we'll return.

Wonderful facility with great updates king room we in lacked any comfortable place to sit and no wh r re to open and leave your suicase.

Leslie at the front desk welcomed us and sent us champagne for our 40th anniversary. Chris the bellman great with all our luggage. Kylie at GGs recovered my phone and Ibrahim at Monarch served us with a great breakfast. Pool bartenders were awesome. Thanks to all for a wonderful stay.

My Wife & I enjoyed our first stay here so much!! Everything about the property and staff, was exceptional!! Atmosphere, Rooms and Cleanliness!! We felt as if we were going back in time, like the 20’s or 30’s, and loved this! If you’re traveling in/around Galveston, you owe it to yourself to experience the luxury and ambiance of this grand a unique hotel, you won’t regret it!
