This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in anywhere. It's like stepping back in time. The room was a bit small, but it was just the two of us so it didn't matter. The bed was very comfortable and well appointed. The shower head system was a bit too complicated and there really wasn't enough pressure for all the different shower heads on it, but I was able to figure it out. Still I would have preferred a simpler shower head.
The lobby, the bar, the pool...everything is beautiful and classy. The new renovations look great!

This place is absolutely beautiful. Everyone was crazy friendly, and helpful! The beds were a little stiff in our room. We went for some paranormal activity, but nothing happened unfortunately.

The historic feel of the hotel is incredible and eclectic. Roarin' 20s, Spanish influence, beautiful commercial space, quaint, clean rooms; it's all awesome. The icing on the cake is the staff. All smiling. All helpful. They really made the experience and we'll be back.

Our one-star rating is due to our breakfast experience. As elite members with complimentary breakfast included as part of the perks of our loyalty, we expected to pay only the difference between the provided value and our selected items. However, our servers supervisor clarified that this credit couldn't be applied, resulting in us having to pay for the breakfast ourselves. While we were willing to do so, the supervisor's approach lacked hospitality. Despite the hotel's aesthetic appeal, the evident understaffing is reflected in the staff's discourteous demeanor towards guests. The server was new and trying her best, the supervisor seemed annoyed and showed her frustration at the guests. Not on our list of places to return unfortunately.

Rocio martinez one of the managers is great and has excellent listening skills. The girls in the front are very nice and helpful. Rooms are nice and beds comfy. Had a king bed w roll away, made it a little tight but manageable. No bar service in The pool bar.

Stayed here for two nights before leaving on a cruise. Gorgeous hotel, and the Sunday brunch was amazing! However, I would not stay here again for several reasons. - rooms are extremely small! We were a family of four with two suitcases. Two double beds in the room and we had to be extremely creative as to where we put our suitcases! There is the world’s smallest mini fridge in the room. It did hold a juice box, but was not wide enough to hold a can of soda. I am not sure that I’ve never seen one so small. - I was told on arrival that we were not allowed to have a cooler in the room. Could not find that in any of the policies online, and I saw several people with coolers around the pool. Inconsistent rule, if it even is one. - the valet situation was probably the worst turn off about this hotel. I had forgotten several items in our luggage that we left in our vehicle. Valet escorted us to our vehicle and then stood there and watched us as we transferred items back-and-forth from our suitcases. It was extremely awkward and uncomfortable. Upon check out, equally as uncomfortable. They parked us right in front of the valet station, even though I asked to be parked somewhere that we could take our time situating our luggage. Multiple young men stood and watched me transfer items back-and-forth from our suitcases. I was probably asked 30 times if they could help me when clearly I was trying to organize clothes, undergarments, etc. There seems to be a definitive line between being helpful and being aggressive. They are on the far end of aggressive.
