Absolutely beautiful historic location across from the island temple shrine. Views were phenomenal, access is o the area from the hotel was wonderful. Food was amazing, dining room is beautiful, the hotel is beautiful. Included breakfast were delicious and large portions with traditional or western breakfast options available.

Service by the hotel staff was pretty decent and the front desk can converse in English. The room was clean and pretty well maintained considering the age of the hotel.

夕食、朝食ともにとても美味しかったです。丁寧に作られていると感じました。
部屋も昔ながらの感じはありますが綺麗でした。

歴史を感じる建物や庭園、窓からのオーシャンビューと、思い出に残るホテルとなりました。まずは、駐車場から、ホテルを眺めてうっとり。一階ロビーや、エレベーターなど、一つ一つ丁寧に作られた、木製の調度品を、じっくり味わいました。
部屋に入ると、雨模様の中にもくっきり浮かび上がる竹島や、海の眺めに、またまたうっとり。
フランス製のアメニティも、良い香りにうっとり。
翌日は、朝6時半から、コーヒー、紅茶のサービスをいただきました。
あと一歩、レストランのカーテンの新調と、歩きやすい庭園になるよう手入れが行き届くと、オール満点です❣️

ここ数年で、クラッシックホテルと呼ばれるホテルグループに 宿泊しています。 蒲郡クラシックホテルが、最後の１つだったのですが 一番残念なホテルでした。 失礼ですが、「お山の大将」的なホテルでした。 周りに、競争相手がいないので、わからなくなっているのでしょう。 １・丘を登った先に、ホテルがあるのですが、一番目立つ処の壁が哀しいほど汚いです。 ２・結婚式あったようで、２日に渡りメインロビーに受付が出たままになっていました。片付けるの大変でしようが、結婚式場専門店に泊りに来ているのかと思いました。 ３・素敵な手紙を書けるテーブルがありましたが、テーブルクロスが染みだらけ ４・お風呂場の虫よけの網がボロボロで虫が入り放題 ５・ホテルショップの品揃えはともかく、商品の並べ方が哀しい ６・部屋の数が少ないのに、部屋の掃除が行き届いていない （違う引き出しに、それぞれ髪の毛がありました） 7・壁に掛けてあるホテルのアーカイブですが、説明があるのに写真が無い ８・スタッフの方々は、お若い人は、おどおどしていて 年配の方は、横柄 ９・２階のトイレですが、もう少し頻繁に掃除に入った方が良いと思います。 どれも取りに足らない事かもしれませんが、せっかくの歴史あるホテルではありますが、全くと言っていいほど生かされていません。 大切にすれば、本当に素敵なホテルになると思います。 私のような口コミが無くなったら、また宿泊したいと思います。 次があればいいのですが。

景勝地であり、有名作家が沢山訪れている反面、何度も経営主体が変わるなど数奇な運命をたどったホテルです。 それでも風格はあり、竹島が見えるラウンジも、メインのフランス料理もよかったです（スタッフは若かったが、ワインやホテルの歴史にも詳しく、楽しめました。）。ただ、ラウンジの名称が「アゼリア」であることからも、ツツジの季節が一番よいのでしょうね。 若干、エアコンの関係か、部屋の匂いが気になりました。 他の方がご指摘の絵はがきがないという点ですが、アンケートの粗品としてもらいました。

昔から訪問を希望していましたが、蒲郡という土地柄、なんとなく機会を逃していました。 早く来ればよかったと、悔やむほど、重厚でありながら敷居の高さを感じさせない心地よいホテルです 海と島を望む景観も素晴らしく、幸いお天気に恵まれ、海外旅行に来ているかのような錯覚さえも感じました。 食事も正統派フレンチ。 当日急に追加で頼んだアワビと伊勢海老も用意してくれ、一生懸命にサーブしてくれるスタッフの方々と共に、美味しい食事をいただきました。
