The corridors and feeling walking in through hotel hallways is dingy and dreary. Lobby is nice. Restaurant and room wasnice

My husband and I stay here a few times a year. We always enjoy the comfortable rooms and friendly staff. I the past we particularly enjoyed the hot breakfast. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed this time. We were told that breakfast was available until 10:00 am so we arrived at 9:25. Our server let us know that it was a buffet. While there was bacon, sausage, eggs and hashbrowns in the chafing trays, they were all Ice cold and inedible. There were no tongs available for the bread. We had to reach into the bread box with our hands. There was a large bowl of yogurt with one spoon in it laid on the table. It was not on ice, so it was warm. There seemed to be no regard for reducing the risk of food borne illness and transmission of germs. A bottle of hand sanitizer at the entrance to the buffet would help mitigate some risk. I would have mentioned my concerns but the server did not return to our table after serving our drinks and there was nobody at the front desk when we checked out.

This is a very nice hotel. The reception was a bit dated but the rooms have undergone renovations and are modern. Comfortable beds. Very, very clean. Awesome hotel. Friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and included with the price! A great place to stay in Gander.

Renovations in hallways made for an unclean look. Tv remote was grimey. Otherwise it was a fine stay.

Complimentary hot breakfast was an excellent addition to the stay. The staff especially front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating. We were even allowed an early check-in which was great considering the weather.
