It was the most horrible experience I had in any of. the hotels in India. I visited Gangtok in early Jan, considered to be peak season. I reserved two rooms through recommendation and accordingly paid the full advance (at higher rate). Upon arrival, while check in, realised that it was an absolute hoax. There was no light in some portion of the corridor, where rooms were allocated. the area was full of cobweb and shabby. No hot water supply! Bedsheets were full of stains and dirty!! The whole environment was unliveable!!! Thus, asked for refund. Mr. Navin (owner) refused to return the money and tried to fork out more by suggesting to take tour package from him at an enormous charge (nearly 4X time of the normal price). I had no choice but to look for alternate accommodation in the night. Upon request for the refund, Mr. Navin used foul language and stopped responding to phone calls. I tried to reach him using alternative numbers but he disconnected . I recommend NOT even consider to visit their website and pay any cent before personal approval of the ambience and the hospitality shown by the staff specially from the owner Mr. NAVIN!
