The room was old and bathroom was moldy and needs updating

Checked in on a Monday with 3 rooms. In one room, the television didn't work. I asked that night, the next day and the last day that I was there and it was never fixed. Went the whole 3 evenings without being able to turn it on. One sink wouldn't drain properly and smelled bad because of it and the toilet would not flush without holding the lever down for a long time and sometimes it took several times to flush correctly. None of these issues were fixed although we asked several times. Any time we asked for a manager, they were conveniently never available. When we asked for a reduction in our room rate since amenities that should have been standard but did not work, again we were told that no manager was available to approve that. No manager ever tried to reach us during or after our stay. Would not stay here again nor recommend this hotel. As a Choice Hotel member, I expected better service.

The property was in a decent location close to shopping centers. Pool area and exercise room could use a little upkeep. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

The room was in need of upgrading. Bathroom tub was discoloured. Shower fixture was leaking. Furniture needed replacement. Found hair on the bathroom floor which was not cleaned by staff.

The hotel is a bit run down and not in the best shape. Our room faced the highway and was noisy until late. The bed was firm with what appeared to be children’s pillows. We have stayed at many comfort inns over the years and this one’s near the bottom. I’d spend a bit more money next time and stay somewhere else if we were in the area

Overall it was okay. The breakfast was the only thing that was good. The room was musty smelling but clean. The bathroom was in not the best shape, it looked the bathtub had been repaired and they never finished it and the stopper was missing as well. The pool was not the best either, sticky fly traps hanging around and a cold hot tub with no one or no way to adjust the heat. The last thing is the side door that goes to the parking lot that requires a room key tk get in was broken and was just left open to whomever wanted to wander in along with 40 degree chill, and the front desk didn't know anything about or do anything about it. So overall the breakfast was good and the beds were good, and everything else was bad. Would I stay again? Probably not. I personally would give a different hotel a try.
