Homewood Suites by Hilton-Anaheim

Front desk lady was not nice literally threatening to call cops while I was packing because I was going to be about 20 minutes late checking out. Awful AWFUL farewell

Close to Disneyland and right on the ART trabsportaion line. Staff waa excellent. Got us in early. Very polite. Property and room was dated. Phones didnt work, shower leaked. Other than that it was great.

Location was great and the kitchen staff (especially Nelson!) was excellent! Front desk employees do not speak to guests unless you approach the desk. It is unprofessional and unwelcoming as a paying guest. The clerks require customer service training. Rooms were rundown, and housekeeping does not refresh rooms every other day as promised. We stayed for 10 days, had a refresh once and had to request 3 other times, twice which were never completed by staff. Staff became argumentative when we made complaints, rather than apologetic or helpful. Pool is not maintained. Palm tree debris and duck feces on the pool deck and in the pool. Never once seen it tidied or cleaned up during our stay. There is no shuttle as proclaimed by other reviews, rather it is the Anaheim ART (municipal transit). Uber rides to Disney Parks were between $10 & $25 for our family of five. I could’ve - and should’ve - spent more on a better hotel within walking distance. Also had a large group of high school students stay at the same time as us. They had the run of the hallways, elevators and breakfast area/lobby at all hours. Extremely disappointing they were allowed to conduct themselves this way, as if the rest of us paying guests weren’t important to Hilton. As a loyal Hilton Honors member with over 60 nights spent in their hotels every year I would never recommend this hotel. There are so many other options in this area, and this hotel is a big disappoin**ent to the Hilton brand. Shame on you, Homewood Suites Anaheim-Maingate for not treating your guests with respect.

I was here for a convention April 26- May 1. Stayed in room 221. It’s an average room, plus side it has a full fridge and kitchenette. It has breakfast, but limited options. Omelet, bacon or sausage, apple's, potatoes, cuties, yogurt, cold cereal. Downsides: the room was hot and stuffy all the time: temperature in the room Stayed around 75-78 degrees. You can set it lower but it never cools. They don’t clean every day, and when they did service the room they didn’t leave any creamers. They also didn’t fully make the bed. The mattress cover and sheet were off, and the flat sheet and coverlet just pulled over it. Trash wasn’t emptied. I think you can probably find something better in the area if you paid a little more. Our conference charged us $260 a night for this hotel; the rate on their website is $133.

Stayed for a week. Staff was fantastic at breakfast time. Good hot breakfast for the kids. Perfect location if you’re heading to Disneyland. Room needs an update but it’s not a reason not to stay. Great value for my money.

Overall it was a great experience. The only inconvenience was that only one elevator was working.
