Grand Hotel Fasano & Villa Principe

It is a 2-hour drive from Venice Airport. The lakeside environment is beautiful and clean. The hotel has a Michelin restaurant, and my wife is very satisfied. The facilities in the entire room are quite satisfactory and are relatively new and clean in Europe. I went to a SPA and the service was okay. The swimming pool is relatively small, and the entire hotel is not large.

For over 15 years I have been drawn back to the Grandhotel Fasano, whose transformation I have witnessed since before its renovation. After a six-year break, I recently returned and was deeply impressed in every way. The Grandhotel Fasano is like no other hotel on Lake Garda in combining the classic elegance for which Italian grand hotels are known with modern luxury and contemporary amenities. This applies to both the excellent service and the first-class facilities. Despite the growing number of five-star hotels in the region, the Grandhotel Fasano is undisputedly at the top. The hotel's wide range of offerings is incomparable - from the excellent wellness area, to the beautiful garden, to the restaurants and bars under one roof. The quality of the rooms has even increased after the renovation. They have retained their unique charm while being upgraded with the latest equipment. The Grandhotel Fasano is and remains my undisputed favorite on Lake Garda, and I look forward to being a frequent guest at this beautiful hotel in the future.

A really great hotel with incredibly attentive and friendly staff in all service areas. Children are also treated particularly kindly in this hotel. All areas from the aqua spa to the rooms are decorated with attention to detail and are always kept clean. But the terrace and the sunbathing area by the lake are absolutely beautiful. Admittedly, the hotel is not exactly cheap... but this is rewarded with many inclusive services (welcome drink, water in the room and in the sauna, and small snacks). Unfortunately, the opening times of the spa area are somewhat limited (7 a.m. to 7 p.m., sauna only from 1 p.m.). We would have liked to have gone to the sauna in the morning and dipped in the pool again after our excursions... But that did not spoil the excellent impression of the hotel and we will definitely go back next year.

If you've always wanted to stay in a film-worthy Italian villa, the Grand Hotel on Lake Garda is the place for you! From the beautiful historic ambience to the delicious food, everything is on offer here. The view of the lake and the surrounding mountains (in March the peaks were covered in snow) is absolutely magical. The rooms were renovated just last year, which means that the interior of modern elegance and the facade of the hotel with its classic look complement each other perfectly. The 4 restaurants Magnolia, Il Pescatore, La D****na and Il Fagiano offer even the most critical gourmet an incredible selection of food, wine and other drinks. Il Fagiano was awarded a MICHELIN star in 2024. At Il Fagiano we had a special kind of dinner that we won't soon forget. The breakfast exceeded all our expectations! For gin lovers or for those who want to become one, there is a special kind of gin tasting in RAMAS Bar. We didn't know what to expect beforehand, but we can say with certainty that after this experience with Rama (the bar was actually named after the employee, which is a special form of appreciation), the way we enjoy gin has changed forever! But to understand that, you have to experience it yourself. Thank you again Rama, for this unique experience. We particularly liked the entire spa area. The heated outdoor pool and the steam bath are particularly worth mentioning. The staff were really infectious with their enthusiasm and passion for their work! Unfortunately, something like this doesn't happen very often anymore, especially in Germany - a great experience!
