Very nice hotel, excellent location, large public areas and a very warm feel. The room was the largest we stayed in during our trip to Iceland, and we could easily spread out 2 suitcases. Opposite is the lighthouse. On a clear day, you can watch the aurora directly from the window (sea view rooms are available, but there will be light pollution from the airport on the other side). Drive 10 kilometers from the hotel to the airport and pass by a small town.

A very pleasant hotel, with a very nice view, a very relaxing place, and an excellent restaurant. It was the most delicious meal in the whole trip to Iceland. The main course and tiramisu were very delicious! At first, I just wanted to catch a plane, but it's really worth living here. You can still see the sunset here in June! ! ! Super rare.

I have been to Iceland over 20 times and this is my favorite hotel. I am torn because I like it so much I want to keep it a secret and not let anyone know, but they deserve an excellent review. The rooms are perfect. Get a room on the water side if possible. It is comfortable, exceptionally quiet, the staff is always wonderful and the rooms are always clean. It is a great escape from all the tourist crowds that are plaguing Iceland anymore. It is also conveniently located to KEF, whether you are arriving or departing, it is a great place to begin or end your trip. It is also the best value for a hotel in Iceland. It's no frills, but that's another reason I like it. The beds are big and comfortable. The breakfast has a lot to choose from and is plentiful. It is easy to get to if you have a car and the parking is free and abundant. Safe travels

Rigtigt fint hotel. Personalet var meget hjælpsomme og servicemindet. Rengøringen var i top.
Morgenmadsbuffeten var ikke gourmet men god i forhold til prisen.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable three days at the Lighthouse Inn. The staff was so helpful and friendly, they took care of every need we had swiftly, big or small. Our flight got in very early in the morning, and they were able to get a room ready in under an hour. We had a slight issue with the shower on day one and it was sorted out straight away. The food was lovely, the views are unbeatable, and we even saw Northern Lights at least a little each night. I will definitely be recommending this property and hope to come back next time I’m in Iceland!

Check-in was easy and the room was large and spacious. The breakfast was easy and convenient and coffee was available in the lobby 24/7. The only negative I have is that it was not advised to made reservations at the restaurant and when we arrived they would not take us but luckily there was one restaurant open in the next town over.

Great find. Wanted somewhere to stay near the airport as we needed to check in by 6.30am. Friendly staff whilst checking in . Nice room , good shower . We arranged an early breakfast package to collect when checking out , and we were disappointed as the sandwich was very stale . Lots of cars had already gone when we checked out at 6.10am I’m not sure why they don’t offer /open up the breakfast room . But besides this the stay was fine . Nice to walk to the lighthouse . Restaurant on site but not promoted much .

Llegamos de noche y nos decidimos por la cercanía con el aeropuerto, viendo el faro por la ventana de la habitación. Habitación cómoda y calentita, revestido todo de madera. El staff muy atentos. El desayuno muy bueno y completo ( los huevos revueltos buenísimo). El Inn está situado en la esquina suroeste de la península reykjanes . Muy buena opción para empezar o terminar la visita a Islandia.
