I asked for extra bedding to be put in my room when I booked, as I have a bad back sometimes I sleep on the floor it was not,the hotel was so cold I waited downstairs for my room to heat up all night which was Very cold as well,a girl screaming ruined our nice evening,something or someone was screaming outside our window all night my husband had bad asthma attack due to the coldness night,the stairs were not clean or hoovered uncomfortable mattress paid for breakfast which was cold ,staff was very friendly and kind

Nice little hotel setting in lovely grounds. We have stayed twice and left the car here for the duration of our holiday. They offer food and have a bar, the rooms are clean and comfortable. They will book you a taxi if you want one to get to the airport but be warned they only take cash. We would stay here again if flying from LGW.

This hotel has the distinction of being without doubt the worst hotel in which we have ever had the misfortune to stay. The staff were every unhelpful and almost rude at times, the service was dreadful, the restaurant, although pricey, no more than fair and the "breakfast" exceptionally poor. Our room was poorly fitted and the first we were offered was internal only with a skylight. It is grossly over-priced and other than the view, there is nothing at all to recommend it. Avoid

Room was really nice. Very comfortable beds, lovely walk in shower. Every member of staff couldn’t do enough to make our stay Perfect! Evening meal on one night and two breakfasts which were really nice and plenty of choice. Would definitely stay here again!!

We booked to stay here overnight before our morning flight attracted by the car parking on site We were very disappointed by the classic room Parking was not close to hotel despite being disabled Also hotel very difficult to locate

Must admit- expectations weren’t high for this as it was just a functional pre airport stay and the price was very reasonable. However- we absolutely loved it. The hotel itself and surroundings are stunning. Reception staff super friendly. Room was perfect with a very comfy bed. The bar was great- very friendly service. Had dinner there- and it was fabulous! Couldn’t believe it! Altogether a superb stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. We will stay here every time we fly from Gatwick from her on in, Thank you.

So disappointed in this hotel! Not cheap compared to others in the area but was 100% not worth the money! Our room was not just dusty but sticky dirt in places they obviously hadn’t cleaned for a while! If you are going to have pictures up you need to wipe them. The window sill was thick with dust as was all the panelling. I know old buildings can gather dust quickly but that was not it. The room was absolutely tiny and looked in need of some repairs and did not have a comfortable night. The bar was pretty expensive and the staff were mainly having a row over who could be bothered to do anything! Not good for customers to wait while you have a private chat about whose job it was to clean the floor and who hadn’t bothered to lift the chairs up but had cleaned round them!

Beautiful hotel set in stunning grounds. Left our car there while on holiday and was so impressed. Staff were friendly. Nice bar to sit in. Room was impressive, with high ceiling and ornate fire place. Lovely bathroom en suite. Comfortable bed. Easy check in and taxi booked for us for the airport. All went without a hitch.
