My wife and I together with another couple of good friends stayed three nights at Radisson Blu in Gdansk. The location of this hotel could hardly have been more central and convenient, next to the city's main square Długi Targ - one of our two double rooms were even upgraded to a suite overlooking this picture-perfect and lively area. Check-in was very smooth as well as access to the garage in the hotel's basement for our car. We didn't dine at the hotel (there is an absolute abundance of excellent restaurants within minutes from the hotel!) but we did enjoy the wide selection at the breakfast buffet, also including optional extra dishes. One regrettable downside though, namely the lack of storage space in the guest rooms - despite a most impressive total floor space of 39m2 in our Premium Room, we only found one - sadly tiny - wardrobe, equally sadly cramped in a awkward corner of the room - those responsible for furnishing must have been uninterested in or unsuited for the job, and how could the hotel management have accepted such neglect or incompetence? Apart from that, we can still recommend this hotel, also as room rates (as elsewhere in Poland) remain quite reasonable compared to most of western Europe.
