Für den Abend und die Nacht, die wir im Hotel verbracht haben, war alles OK. Wir werden sicherlich auf einer Fahrradtour durch die Wachau wieder kommen.

Great location in the heart of the Wachau. Accessible by public transport (715 bus from Krems or Melk and the Wachaubahn). Lots of great walks start from near the hotel, including the UNESCO walking trail throughout the Wachau. Great restaurant - and the wine is great. I can recommend the flammkuchen with their Pinot noir!

Wir wurden freundlich auf dem Weingut empfangen. Die Rezeption befindet sich im gleichen Raum wie die "Wein. Kost. Bar". Unser Zimmer befand sich direkt neben dem Treppenaufgang, da alles sehr hellhörig war, hörte man Jeden kommen und gehen. Da halfen die aufgestellte Schilder "Ab 22 Uhr leise zu machen", leider Nichts. Das Zimmer ist groß und traditionell mit viel dunklem, schweren Holz eingerichtet. Ganz im Gegenteil dazu ist der Frühstücksraum gestaltet. Hell, freundlich und modern. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Spitzenklasse. Am Abend haben wir in der WEIN. KOST. BAR eine kleine Weinverkostung der selbst hergestellten Weine genossen. Uns wurde zu jeder Weinsorte etwas erzählt. Prima.
