41 Lakefront Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

I don’t really feel the need to elaborate any further on this. I can simply state that I wasn’t happy with my stay

The staff working at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The pool was closed due to maintenance. We were able to use the pool at the Hampton Inn. The property is right on the water which we loved. The major downside for us was the beds are only full size. Which makes it hard to sleep more than 1 adult.

Room was nice enough but AC went out half way through. It was over 80 degrees in the room the whole time. Was not offered another room, though notified about AC being out twice.

We love the location and there is a lot to like about the property. The room was quite comfortable. The bed and pillows were good as well. The room decor needs updating. We experienced a problem with the room air conditioner and the maintenance staff were there to fix it in minutes. There was a not pleasant man at check in who was not helpful. We were very impressed by the waitress at breakfast this morning. She was on her own to serve the entire room and did a great job. This property could easily be a 5 star one with some clean-up efforts (patches need sanding down, room decor needs updating).

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Rooms are comfortable and the staff was friendly. Lake-side rooms are worth the added price. Water-saving toilets are REALLY loud, and the shower in our room needed some cleaning attention. We will most likely return next time we are in Geneva.

We got in to town early and we weren't sure what to do. We took a chance on seeing if we could check in and they got us right in! The 1st floor lake view rooms were great for sitting outside with our morning coffee and watch the sun come up!

Appalling in almost every conceivable way. Upon arrival there was no refrigerator in our room. And a bare wire sticking out of the wall where the outlet for the fridge used to be. There was also some sort of adhesive all over one shelf in the "closet". The front desk person said this had been mentioned by a previous guest but I guess they decided not to act on that complaint either. Speaking of the front desk, neither they nor the restaurant will answer thier phones. I tried both multiple times, busy tone every time even though there were no guests at either location when I gave up and walked down. Speaking of the restaurant, there I was served by far the worst old fashioned I've had in my life. What they did to that Woodford should be a crime. One night during our stay the power went out. Even though I could gear a generator screaming outside my window there were no lights and no ac in our room. Not that I would have slept well if the room wasn't noisy and hot. My biggest complaint by far is the bed. It was, hands down, the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on in my life. And I've slept on bare ground before. I actually pulled off the sheets to make sure it wasn't just a box spring. Nope, they really do make mattresses that bad apparently. My one and only compliment is that the towels were quite soft, noticeably better than most other hotels. If this is a repeat post, it's only because they keep sending me invitations to place a review.

Mixed emotions. Beautiful location and building. Price of room and room itself nice. Pool appears to be permanently closed but you can travel to another hotel to swim, no charge. Staff seems friendly but everyone was on there cell phone. Little thi gs like no soap in shower and small refrigerator needed defrosting. No free breakfast. For the price I might do it again.

Lovley location tiggt by the lake. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
