The add was a little misleading. When I booked I saw pictures of private villas so that’s what I thought we were getting, however it was a regular hotel room. For the price it was not worth it! No free breakfast and food at their restaurant was insane expensive. With that being said they also didn’t have a microwave in the rooms. When I showered I noticed a used dirty washcloth hanging over the shower rod! The weather wasn’t on our side during our trip so didn’t get to enjoy the outside pool or hot tub and the one inside closed at 9pm.
I wouldn’t rebook here!

Very friendly and helpful staff.A beautiful place to relax ! Early May is chilly and rainy but the grounds and rooms are very clean.The pools are beautifully maintained and offer a hot tub.The town is trying to expand food offerings , which is much needed .Just around the corner in opposite direction, is a boardwalk feel of shoppes, and entertainment .Very close to Ashtabula for more of a suburban feel .Overall, a great experience.

The view from Cottage #17 was perfect. The cottage was clean, the amenities great and staff was phenomenal! Highly recommend. The weather was beautiful so that helped also! The wine shuttle is also well worth the money! It's so nice to not have to worry about directions or driving after a few glasses of vino!

Rcvd offer to upgrade room. The room had two wine glasses and a bottle of wine. I was called about an hour later to state that the glasses and wine were not for us and they were going to come take them out of the room. As well this upgraded room was next to elevator and quite noisy. Luke at front desk was kind at check in.

It is January so this is the Lodge's least busy time and we knew that going in; however, we didn't know the restaurant was closed as we are hoping for a nice birthday dinner and breakfast the following morning. The staff did provide dining options in the area and we selected Mary's Diner in Geneva, which had a cool 50s motif. Also, the water was at best lukewarm for the shower on the 9th. The pool and hot tub were terrific and we used them both days we were there.
