This hotel is in very good location. Next to the hotel is 24 hours Indomaret convenient store (equivalent to 7-11) and around 10 minutes walk is Tunjungan Plaza which a very big shopping mall. The hotel does lunch promotion for 30,000 IDR for a rice dish with unlimited ice tea. The facilities are very basic if you are not looking for anything fancy. One thing I want the hotel to improve is the sound of A/C. On my 1st night, it was very loud that kept me awake until 2 am. Other than that, I don’t have anything else to complain.

The service is excellent, they are kind, polite, and helpful. Smiles never left their faces and they always try to help swiftly. The breakfast is great, tasty, and the selection is even greater, they have a lot of varieties of Indonesian food. The room is great in size, the floor is clearly swept, the bathroom is clean, the amenities are adequate (bring your own hair dryer bcs the one they have is not as great). But terribly disappointed with the cleaners, I used the spoon and glass on day 1 and they didn't even bother to clean them, only put on the usual spot. I tried to "tell" them again the next day yet they still haven't cleaned any 🥲🥲

Great location! 10 mins walk to Tunjungan Plaza, 8 mins walk to KFC, Pizza Hut etc. Small supermarket just next door.
However, unhappy with the following:
1. Faulty room door: need to pull to shut. I thought the slam would shut the door but no. I left the room door opened for 3 hours on the first day. Luckily nothing was lost.
2. Water flow out of sink too slow: within 10 seconds of washing, a small pool built up.

The Ibis city center is in a great location with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The staff are very friendly and helpful and always willing to help. My room was comfortable and clean. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

One of the best hotel in surabaya, location is in the city easy to get around, the room is nice and clean and the breakfast was amazing.
