MIDHILLS Prime Residences Genting Highlands

We deeply regretted choosing this place for our overnight stay. I still can't understand how it has a rating above 8! Maybe others got a room with a view, which is what we were hoping for, but our room was on the G floor – have you ever even heard of such a thing? The view was enjoyed by people and cars from the street looking into our window. We booked it because of the kitchen, but for cooking, there's only one pot, just so you know. The walls were covered in mold, it was cold, the bed was damp, and all our belongings were damp. It felt like we'd stepped into a horror movie. I'm generally not a picky person, and the hotel wasn't expensive, but we were choosing between two places, and the other one was even cheaper, also with a kitchen, but it was on top of a mountain, not in a low-lying area surrounded by constant construction, making it impossible to go for a walk. The room was large and spacious, but that ended up being more of a drawback because it made it incredibly cold. This was the biggest disappointment of our trip and of yesterday.
