The hotel itself was well located which was why we chose Awana in the first place.
In terms of facilities and amenities it was acceptable. They give a little bag of cookie with a basic toiletries which was good.
The only downside was the overall staff service was very slow and less attentive. We had to follow up and check numerous times before getting our request done.

The hotel has been recently renovated and all rooms have been refurbished. The bed is very big, an American-style hotel single bed. The hotel has complete fitness facilities and a heated swimming pool. I went to play golf, but unfortunately the course was under partial maintenance and I could only play 9 holes. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to the cable car station every hour.

We booked this hotel for our golf trip . We were not told that the golf course is actually under reconstruction and consequently we have to play the same 9 holes twice … Further most of the holes are not ready with shabby greens and conditions. On top of that we are required to pay full fees for the course . We are very disappointed.
On the good side , we were given high floor room. Good size room for 2 adults n 2 kids. Our room view is nice with mountain and golf view
We had lunch at the hotel. The hotel food is good .

The hotel lobby feels good. As soon as you arrive at the hotel, there are waiters to help you carry your luggage. The service is good, but the hygiene is just so-so! There are old stains on the toilet that can't be washed off, which is really disgusting! However, the hotel has a free shuttle service, which is worth praising. Awana Resort Genting Highlands!! A holiday resort located close to the city of Kuala Lumpur. 20 minutes from Gombak.
Stars: maybe 4/5. X sure how much now.
Location: Near Genting Highland Premium Outlet (shuttle bus provided free of charge). Eat at Gohtong Jaya.
Breakfast: OK. No less, no more. It's delicious.
