Love Oakhurst and the staff. They are really wonderful and so friendly. The food is excellent and the rooms are really comfy and beautiful. Cannot wait for my next visit in August

The service at reception was exceptional, Clarissa went out of her way to accommodate us and find a suitable room for 5 nights within a time frame of 30 minutes. The room was spacious, the breakfast was very good, and at night the food was great. You cannot go wrong if you stay at the Oakhurst Hotel.

We had a 3 day stay in the hotel. It was very pleasant, and the staff were great. The hotel is ageing a bit but if you take price into consideration, it is excellent value for money. It is situated in a very good area. I can recommend it.

The hotel only has one iron to serve the entire hotel. I could not iron my clothes at all. Although the staff was trying their utmost best to help. The door handle was also broken struggled to open the door and close the door.

Served it's purpose for an overnight stay. Very welcoming and warm however the hand shower in the bath doesn't spray decently and the shampoo fittings were loose. Breakfast options were very limited and only scrambled eggs were offered.

The check-in process was quite easy. I found the hotel, to my surprise not up to 4 star standards. Old keys to the room doors. There was a curtain in front of the cupboard, no doors which was really strange. At the time we visited some major pipe work in the George CBD rendered the area without water for the duration of our stay. We were never informed of this and believe that the hotel did not manage their risks sufficiently well. We could not shower the following morning and depended on 2 bottles of water to prepare ourselves for the day. This is not good enough and I dont believe I will use this hotel in the future.

A lovely stay . Hotel is clean and it was an uncomplicated stay. An easy place to visit. The staff were friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant gave very generous food portions. They offered breakfast and were open for dinners as well. Value for money.

Some excellent restaurants nearby. Showers were wonderful. Breakfast could do with a huge overhaul. Really not up to 4* hotel standards. Hotel itself was well located for some wonderful sights in the area.
