Villas of the Galleon

The Villas complex is situated between the busy Ritz Carlton and Westin hotels and is a peaceful Haven. The Villas are in the traditional Caribbean style and are very well spaced out between well kept gardens. We stayed in Villa 7. it was perfect for us and had every amenity you could need. The maid service was excellent and I would especially like to thank Susie for doing a great job and making us very welcome. The beach is gorgeous. There are 17 umbrellas and numerous shady areas from the trees. Lesley on the front desk was really friendly and helpful. We had a truly marvellous holiday.

Truly a gem on seven mile! My husband and I went two weeks ago on our honeymoon and want to go back already. The staff was very accommodating. The location is perfect. You have everything you need location-wise, and the privacy of the beach in your back yard. 100% recommend and will be back!

We loved every minute of our stay! Our condo was clean and nicely decorated. The private beach was beautiful and we always had lounge chairs available. Everyone was very nice. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at the Villas was incredible! From the beautiful, clean and comfortable accommodations, to easy beach, restaurant and shopping access to the kind, warm and welcoming people, we will definitely be back! We took two excursions while visiting which were the highlights of the trip (not including just chilling on the beach); we sailed on a catamaran to swim with the stingrays and kiss the starfish, and went on a coral snorkeling adventure as well. We’ll also treasure our time right outside our villa on the beach, lounging on the beach chairs with umbrellas and side tables, steps from our villa’s fully-stocked kitchen where we’d grab breakfast and lunch (and of course, cold beverages)! Lovely property. I hope to return and stay longer next time. Our villa was a 2BR, 1 BR with a King, and 1 BR with 1 Queen and 2 Twin beds. Full kitchen, plenty of room, comfortable furnishings and oh so close to the water. We met several people who come down and stay for several months and have for years. Staff was very pleasant. A gem.

Great location and great value. Unit was clea n and well furnished. Close to everything and easy to get to from the airport. Beachfront was great and there was plenty of shade if you didn't want to be in the sun. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely book there again.

Our stay at the Villas of the Galleon was spectacular. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The unit was recently remodeled and they did a great job, very clean and comfortable. The beach was magnificent, while the hotels on either side were crowded and chaotic our beach was peaceful and relaxing. The location is great with lots of things within walking distance. This was our first stay at Villas of the Galleon but it won’t be our last

I booked Villas of the Galleon after reading good reviews. The villa did not disappoint. Unfortunately all the low floor villas by the beach were booked, so after looking at photos I booked Villa # 69 since it was freshly renovated and overlooked the beach. The beach view was beautiful, and it was literally a stone's throw away! It was really relaxing to be here. It was quiet, the beach wasn't so busy, it was easy to find chairs, and we liked having a washer-dryer which was super convenient. We had rooms on 2 separate floors. First of all, we had nobody to help with the luggage and had to carry all the bags up 3 flights of stairs which was a pain. Second, we didn't have the energy to go one more flight up so had to manage with all our suitcases on the downstairs floor since the second room was upstairs. We loved trying out new restaurants and did all the activities in the island while at the villa before we moved to a hotel resort where we planned to stay in more. While we liked the villa, I don't think we would stay here unless we could book the bottom floor. Being at the bottom is much more convenient. Also, there was nothing to do and the kids were bored. We had to go to the Westin or nearby at other hotels to avail of amenities and activities. The villas do not provide anything. You have to purchase everything including cooking oil, detergent, etc. which didn't make sense for such a short stay so we just ate out or got delivery. The villa office made good recommendations on birthday celebrations, etc. Overall we had very good value for money -- I cannot say the same of the resort that we are at now -- and I would recommend the villa if you are able to book a good one!
