Hotel Hong Ping Reviews

Not sure how to rate this, so giving it three stars. The facilities are old and the room isn't particularly spacious. For a three-star hotel, there were no toothbrushes, slippers, or even shower gel and shampoo. Check-in took over ten minutes because they couldn't find my booking, which was quite an experience. There must be a mosque nearby as there was some kind of prayer service happening around 6 AM.

Older hotel but in a great location. Within Georgetown historical area and walkable to most tourist/historical sites if you can bear the heat and humidity. Room is good size but needs update especially with door security. They tried to blend the old with new design trend kudo to them for the effords😄 Be aware of the proximity to the mosque where they broadcast early in the morning and afternoon late into the evening. Eventually you will get used to it, we did after 2 nights of stay. Overall I would recommend Hotel Hong Ping for the friendly staffs and services and their ease of access and location.

Location is okay, but there were mice in the room.

The environment is quite old, and the toilet was dirty, with dried yellow urine stains on the seat. I'd say it's livable, but the conditions are poor. On the upside, it's convenient for food and sightseeing.

Great little hotel in the heart of Georgetown. Friendly staff & clean rooms, with windows!, which is often rare for this price range. Very good stay & would recommend it highly.

A Good Hotel which offer 2 star facility, but very near to all locations

The hotel is good but very old, and the bedding could have been cleaner. The main advantage is its location—it’s right in the city centre on Chulia Street. The AC was very slow to cool, but the staff advised me to keep it running so that the room would be cool when I returned after going out.

Terrible, completely different from what was advertised. The description was a total lie – it was dirty, old, and had no air conditioning. We had to switch rooms twice and ended up leaving after just one night, I was so angry!

The hotel is located in the heart of George Town. The reception manager is very friendly. It is true that the hotel's facilities are outdated, but its prime location in the center of tourist attractions makes up for it. If you're looking for a modern, urban-style hotel, you may want to reconsider booking this one. However, if you're seeking a budget-friendly option, it's worth checking the reviews before making a reservation.
