Savv Hotel

Staying at the Savoy Hotel, the only highlight was the view of the marina from the window. The room cleanliness was good, but the towels were torn and old, rough and stiff, completely lacking that soft, fluffy feel. They heavily promote themselves as being Chinese-friendly, but I didn't experience any corresponding service throughout my stay. The breakfast quality was poor, with limited options and mediocre taste, which was severely inconsistent with the room rate. The pool was pitifully small. My colleague unfortunately lost their room card, and the hotel immediately demanded an exorbitant compensation of 50 MYR. Overall, the value for money is very low. The room rate doesn't match the actual service and facilities. I do not recommend it.

I absolutely love this hotel! This was my second stay, and if I ever come back to Georgetown, I'll only stay here. The cleanliness is perfect, the location is superb, everything is brand new, and I feel right at home! This time I was with my family, and I booked a larger room with the option for an extra bed. The bed was provided, they didn't forget, and there was a coffee machine in the room, which was perfect for starting the day with a fresh, good cup of coffee! Keep up the great work! I really liked this hotel. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. They spoke English well. The room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly. Its location is close to a fishing village. You can walk straight to a grocery store in 5 minutes. Inside the hotel, there's an area with a small pool. When I was there, I was the only one using it. The pool is shallow and clean. There's security downstairs, and the lobby and hotel entrance are closed at night. Regarding soundproofing, I found it to be fine, even though my windows faced the road. Someone with very light sleep might find it unsuitable, but personally, I slept well the whole time and had a good rest. There were sounds, but they were very muffled.
