Good location opposite the new Gurney Drive esplanade (still under construction but will be very beautiful when completed). Spacious rooms and good views from the rooms.

Ascott Gurney Penang is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, the staff are friendly, and the facilities are well-maintained. The breakfast is good and the location is super convenient — near malls, restaurants, and the seafront. Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back!

The room so big and clean…it will be my favourite hotel in penang..u will come back soon..the hotel in front of the beach. Near to the Gleneagle hospital by walk 5 minutes. Theres a mini market & coffee shop next to the hotel

Location was great, just a short casual walk to both Gurney Paragon and Gurney Plaza, with nice eateries along the way. Nice swimming pool and 24 hours gym. It’s great that a 24 hours supermarket is located just at the side of the hotel. Doorman and concierge were courteous.
If they had provided bottled water, it will be better.

Spacious room with stunning sea views. Enjoy watching the sunrise and sunset. Variety of amenities and great service. Staffs are nice and helpful. Also the breakfast was good too. It was a great experience for my vacation to Penang. Definitely my choice of stay for my next visit.

Love the stay and staffs are all friendly! Room was so spacious! Will definitely come back for a stay.
Just a small drawback which was the noise for my second morning, I complained about it and hotel mentioned was the mall beside and they can’t do anything plus it was a Sunday! Our friends who were staying in higher floor (30+) didn’t hear that, our floor located at 20 stg so maybe it depends on luck?

The room is very good, clean and big
Breakfast also very good
However the laundrette room is hidden and feel spooky and creepy, there are 2 washing machine but has no instruction about how to use it, so i cancel wash my clothes
