We booked this trip a year ago, so excited to stay at Peace and Plenty , with so many reviews and rich history we thought we'd love this hotel. As we checked into the room , we were in shock that it was dirty, like someone else was in the room. The front desk agent and restaurant host, quickly cleaned it and made the beds for us as there was no housekeeping on site. They did a lovely job and we soon got off to sleep. The second day we went to the beach club, another place i can say please dont go. The beach attendants were doing nothing , when asked if we could get the inflatables out , they said we could do it ourselves. The Girls behind the bar seemed like the couldn't care less either, I think the manager came down at one point , but he sat and ate his food, spoke badly to the employees which us guests could hear. The boat captain was 20 minutes late, no apology when he arrived. It wasn't a fun day, at 4pm we asked for a drink and they said they were closed. No need to close at 4pm on a lovely day with paying guests still on the beach! When arriving back to the Peace and plenty hotel , we decided to have dinner at the copia. The host was so lovely , I think her name was Tyler. We loved Jdawn and sharelle, they always made us laugh and even though the restaurant got busy , all 3 girls worked hard. The cake for dessert was fantastic and even better to know that the staff make it .When we ate at other times when they didnt work , we felt rushed and needed to get out the restaurant quickly. Those 3 made a difference for us , other than that , our room got cleaned once, the drinks were way too strong , and half the time the hotel was out off food items on the menu. Please let guests know the hotel is dirty from construction. Junior Staff were the most friendliest and helpful.
