We stayed 10 days at the Vintage House and really enjoyed every day. The host Cheah is doing an outstanding job. She is extremely friendly and well informed about sightseeing spots, restaurants (+affordable bars) and everything you need to know. The accomodation itself is basic but very clean and offers enough space if you need to work remote. Bathrooms / showers are good. A washing machine is available as well. The common kitchen is basically equipped, enough to prepare snacks, sandwiches, etc. I can strictly recommend to stay at the Vintage House.

Iedereen heeft een Cheah in z’n leven nodig. Wat een geweldige vrouw! Super lief, behulpzaam, servicegericht en betrokken. Ze deed zelfs de was voor ons en stuurde via whatsapp allemaal leuke tips door. Ze zorgde voor de vertaling met een Maleisische taxi chauffeur en verzorgde iedere dag voor gefilterd water, koffie en thee. De kamers waren basic, maar helemaal prima. Vooraf waarschuwde ze voor lawaai op straat aangezien de locatie in het centrum ligt, maar dit viel reuze mee. De locatie is trouwens top. Alles ligt op loopafstand. We leerden een stel kennen uit Engeland en deden daar in de ochtend een yoga sessie mee. Het is een leuke plek om nieuwe mensen te ontmoeten. We raden deze plek zeker aan!
