Visited in January 13,2024, wanted to experience the outdoors having dinner at poolside. Firstly, each time I visit Guyana I come to the Peg for dinner. This hotel has been around for ages, with so many other hotels and dining available the Peg needs to look at what clients are saying and continue to strive to be competitive. Staff needs training in customer service. The food menu is the most unappealing and outdated piece of paper. No pictures to showcase the foods. Our particular staff did not share any meal recommendations nor did he greet us. I am pointing these little nuisances as these are all part of customer service. I am also comparing the service I received at the Marriott Hotel poolside and thought that the Peg can certainly learn from their competition. I am hoping that the Peg revamps the food menu, options of food choices and work on staff/customer relations. Based on my past experiences,I will not be recommending the Peg restaurant nor will I be a returning customer.
