Very comfortable clean room, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Felt very safe at all times. A short distance to the botanical gardens and zoo. Pleasant gardens for eating and drinking. A good local hotel without the blandness of a big chain.

The hotel is located in a lovely and quiet area but is still central for seeing Georgetown. The grounds are beautifully kept and the room was bright and spacious with handy appliances including a fridge, microwave and kettle. The room was cleaned and serviced every day, there is a mould issue which should be sorted as soon as possible, despite this the stay was comfortable. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. A massive thank to everyone for making my stay an enjoyable one - a special mention for Wallace, Paul, Christopher, Dwayne, Susanna, Fiona and Crystal. I will definitely be returning to Herdmanston Lodge.

I have no complaints, the accommodations, service and staff were excellent l had a really enjoyable experience and loved staying here..l certainly look forward to staying here again.

This hotel is a hidden gem, my experience has been nothing short of amazing! From the security guard Mr. Wallace to the receptionist I met on Thursday, the atmosphere was welcoming. Damon and Paul from the restaurant staff were very helpful as well. Their presence made me feel at home. The room is spacious and comfortable, and exceptionally clean My stay here was a pleasant one, I will most defensively return.

My wife and I spent 4 comfortable nights here. The area is excellent and quiet. The staff was professional, the breakfast was great. Overall our stay was worth it and will come back.

I had to reserve a room for my friend at the hotel for her travel from Cuba to Georgetown. Not being in Guyana physically I put my trust in the staff of Herdmanston. Anthony (Menelik) has been a great help arranging all of her needs while there. She mentioned that she enjoyed her room and was treated like a queen during her stay. Over-all, the staff and the hotel exceeded all of my expectations!

Nestled in a historic colonial district of Georgetown, this hotel and staff feel like a home away from home. Tropical, breezy, lush and inviting, not far from all the action in the city and a wonderful chef and staff…. My vacation was just memorable! Bravo!
