Bayshore Cottages

My family is always extremely pleased with our stay at Bayshore Cottages. The waterfront and amenities are amazing, with views for days. Not to mention, Chris and Christina (owners) are so helpful, and customer service is driven at every opportunity, making it a home away from home.

I recently stayed in July with my family of four, two children ages 9 & 6. This is now our 3rd stay at Bayshore Cottages! Our experiences continue to be great and a memorable time! Every time we find something new to do with the family! Chris and Christina run a great family style environment and are very welcoming. They are great hosts and I feel they go above and beyond. Best part is that my children had many other kids to play with and they were never bored even when we spent entire days on the property. It was great meeting new families ans creating lasting friendships and memories. This year we made a trip to Big Bay to have some great ice cream and skipped stones at Canada's Stone Skipping Capital. It's only about 10-15 minutes down the road. We also spent an afternoon at Story Book Park in Owen Sound about 35 minutes away. Although it is geared to younger children my 9 year old said she still had a blast and it was enjoyable. I feel that may have been her 1st and only time going. Bayshore Cottages continues to be on our vacation list each summer for years to come. My children said the love it there and didn't want to leave. Next year we will definitely be considering to do a two week rental than our normal one week so it can feel like a vacation as it is quite the distance from home! We enjoyed four wonderful days at Bayshore Cottages! The lovely campfire evenings and days spent at the beach made our visit! We stayed in one of the cabins with a fellow couple and found it very spacious, clean and conveniently located. We even enjoyed a day visit to Sauble Falls and Sauble Beach with information provided from the owners. We would highly recommend visiting and cannot wait to return next year!

We loved staying at Bayshore Cottages! We had so much fun enjoying the lovely beach! Nightly campfires and access to a volleyball court are a great perk! We had a comfy cabin to stay in for the week with close friends. It fit four people very comfortably! The wonderful owners were friendly and very helpful in providing us with direction to nearby attractions, such as Tobemory. I look forward to staying here again soon!

This family run resort is amazing. My family and I have been visiting Bayshore Cottages for the last four years and we are always pleased with the quality of service, scenic views, and it’s accessibly to other local adventures. Chris and Christina are gracious hosts. We had an incredible two weeks this summer, filled with adventures, relaxing days on the beach and beautiful sunsets. Stayed here for a week in August. Owners are very polite and helpful. Our 2 bedroom cottage was clean, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. We had a beautiful view of the sunsets from our deck.

Our family of four( children 5 & 8) had a wonderful stay at Bayshore Cottages! So many kids for our children to play with. Such a warm family atmosphere! Christina and Chris were very welcoming and often checked in to see how things were. Great location only a couple minutes to Bruce Caves, about 20 minutes to Sauble Beach and less than a hour to Tobermory. They have a wonderful beach property with various water activities for all to enjoy! Their play area with play structure and sand was a true hit for our kids as well as searching for frogs. Children were out playing the entire vacation including in the rain! Although the 2bdrm cottage may be on the small side a little, it worked for our family as all we really used it was to sleep and eat, would not hesitate to rent the 2bdrm again. Cottage fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils etc. BBQ on private deck as well. Interior photos of cottages on their website are accurate. We look forward to returning here and making it a family tradition!

Great beach, water views and memories. Stayed in a cabin with friends and enjoyed the campfire each night. I would definitely stay here again. Very close to Tobemory, Sauble Falls, caves and Owen Sound.
