Hampton Inn and Suites Memphis Germantown

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, well kept and in a good location. The parking lot is well lit and the hotel is next to a cute shopping area.

The Hampton Inn in Germantown is always a great choice. We’ve stayed there multiple times and it is consistently clean and in good condition. As with most hotels, post-pandemic, you have to request daily service. Requests for extra towels, etc are always accommodated. The free breakfast is good- nothing fancy but enough to get you going. The neighborhood is great, lots of great dining options nearby (Moondance!) and Saddlecreek shopping center is just a mile away for your mall-like shopping needs.

Our room wasn't cleaned daily, towels weren't replaced. Very generic breakfast. Nice area, staff was fine.

I booked a with 2 queen beds on 01-02-24 at this hotel for 03-02-24. I checked in online and picked out the room that I wanted the day before arrival, which also was a 2 queen bed room. The app told me to stop by the front desk to get keys because the digital key wasn't working. I arrived at the front desk the next day to get my key, and found that the hotel had overbooked and I could not have a 2 queen bed room, but instead they gave me a 1 king sized bed room. We had a party of 4 people. I told them that was not acceptable, that I had reservations for a 2 queen bed room. I don't recall getting a apology, but instead I was told the manager doesn't work on the weekend and only the manger could help me. I said okay, then have the manager call me Monday. The manager did not call Monday. I left a message for the manager Tuesday morning. The manager did not return my call. I called again Tuesday afternoon. I requested a refund for the room because it was not what I wanted. The manager told me that they could not help me and eventually hung up on me. Very professional! At least I got a room though. They gave our coach's room away and he had to find one at another hotel altogether! After the manager hung up on me I did some web surfing to find someone else to talk to since she obviously was not going to. The Hilton Customer Complaint personel did help me. I got a refund and apology from them. I highly do NOT recommend this hotel because the management does not know what they are doing and the costumer service is very bad. I have never had a problem with the Hilton hotels before, it is just this one location.

Very clean and new location in very nice area.

Clean, nice rooms. I would have liked to have more options for food/drinks within the hotel as I did not have a car.
