I booked a with 2 queen beds on 01-02-24 at this hotel for 03-02-24. I checked in online and picked out the room that I wanted the day before arrival, which also was a 2 queen bed room. The app told me to stop by the front desk to get keys because the digital key wasn't working. I arrived at the front desk the next day to get my key, and found that the hotel had overbooked and I could not have a 2 queen bed room, but instead they gave me a 1 king sized bed room. We had a party of 4 people. I told them that was not acceptable, that I had reservations for a 2 queen bed room. I don't recall getting a apology, but instead I was told the manager doesn't work on the weekend and only the manger could help me. I said okay, then have the manager call me Monday. The manager did not call Monday. I left a message for the manager Tuesday morning. The manager did not return my call. I called again Tuesday afternoon. I requested a refund for the room because it was not what I wanted. The manager told me that they could not help me and eventually hung up on me. Very professional! At least I got a room though. They gave our coach's room away and he had to find one at another hotel altogether! After the manager hung up on me I did some web surfing to find someone else to talk to since she obviously was not going to. The Hilton Customer Complaint personel did help me. I got a refund and apology from them. I highly do NOT recommend this hotel because the management does not know what they are doing and the costumer service is very bad. I have never had a problem with the Hilton hotels before, it is just this one location.
