The staff are very friendly.
The sunset at Tachen Cliff is also spectacular.
It's full of flowers and is always well-maintained. There are also pools for adults and children.
However, there are no toothbrushes provided. But if you ask, they will give it to you.

This was my first experience at Ta Ċenċ & Spa.
I am not going to forget this two nights , the stay was impeccable. The receptionist Douca was extremly helpful during my stay. Not always her but all the staff, they work hard to keep the clients satisfied. I was totally relaxed during my stay like your in heaven. Surely i am going to miss there, and i will go again for sure. First class service from everyone.

Really doubtful if this deserves a 5 *, more of a 4 * resort. Room was clean & spacious, tv was small for a 5*. Mattresses on the beds tended to tilt to one side. Breakfast buffet was good though again had better buffets in 4* hotels. Pools were clean and not noisy. There is nothing much to do except laze around the pool all day. Pitiful games room. Lots of hungry cats and seemingly abandoned areas. Cleaners take ages to do the rooms people were waiting ages at around 1pm to get back into their rooms working in a numbered basis not first doing guests rooms, then departures considering check in is at 3pm. For the price there are other better 5 * hotels in Malta & Gozo.

The Ta Cenc hotel is set in 400 acres of rugged nature reserve and cliffs with truly spectacular views. The facilities are excellent as is the food. Any requests or problems are dealt with swiftly. Would highly recommend.

Das Hotel eignet sich sehr für ruhesuchende Personen, insbesondere an Werktagen. Am Wochenende hatte es mehr Übernachtungsgäste, insbesondere Familien aus Malta. Wir schätzten die grosszügige Gartenanlage mit den drei Pools. Das beheizte Pool (Zugang ab Spa) ist sehr schön angelegt mit Felsen und Pflanzen. Die zwei unbeheizten Pools sind so angelegt, dass sich das Familienpool auf der einen Hotelseite befindet, dass Erwachsenenpool auf der anderen Hotelseite. Durch diese räumliche Trennung können Ruhesuchende erholsame Ferien geniessen. Alle Zimmer sind ebenerdig angelegt. Unser Zimmer war zwar sehr ruhig gelegen, verfügte aber leider über keine Aussicht, so dass es nicht sehr anmächelig war, die Terrasse zu nutzen. Das Zimmer war geräumig, das Bad etwas renovationsbedürftig - auch wenn mir bei Ankunft bestätigt worden war, dass es sich um ein renoviertes Bad handelte. Andere Länder, andere Sitten. Die Duschzelle war enorm eng und das Wasser (heiss-kalt) sehr schlecht regulierbar. In Reiseführern wurde ein Privatstrand sowie ein Hotelshuttle zu diesem Strand erwähnt: Es gibt aber weder das eine noch das andere. Das Hotel besitzt ein Restaurant ausserhalb des Hotelkomplexes, welches auf einer Klippe thront und wo Liegestühle/Schirme erhältlich sind. Schwimmen ist ab Felseinstieg (nur bei ruhigem Meer) möglich. Ein Shuttle dorthin existiert nicht, entweder man fährt mit dem Mietwagen dorthin oder geht zu Fuss (ca. 20 bis 30 Minuten)

Lugar maravilloso para desconectar y pasar unos días en Gozo. Entorno e instalaciones preciosas. El personal atento y muy agradable. Cuentan con todos los servicios necesarios y una carta de tratamientos completa. Recibimos unos masajes estupendos por parte de muy buenos profesionales.

Dans l’ensemble, nous avons été assez déçues par cet hôtel, surtout par le rapport qualité/prix. Les points forts : Le spa et les piscines qui sont très bien entretenus. Le calme de l’hôtel. L’accueil. Le petit déjeuner, sa qualité et sa diversité. Le restaurant de l’hôtel Les points faibles: La chambre: bien que grande, elle est très vieillotte, très peu de lumière du jour, très peu de lumière dans la chambre également, l’odeur de « vieux bois humide », la vétusté de la salle de bain avec sa plomberie catastrophique, la fameuse TV écran plat promise qui est vieille comme le monde, pas de prises européennes, les matelas très mous (matelas à eau ?), les matelas du lit double qui se séparaient la nuit pour laisser place à un grand vide entre nous… La situation géographique: on est loin de tout, le village à côté est complètement désertique, pas de commerces à proximité, il faut commander un Uber pour se rendre en ville. L’entretien de l’hôtel: tout l’arrière de l’hôtel est laissé à l’abandon et n’est plus entretenu. Seule la devanture de l’hôtel reste en bon état (et est très jolie). Il n’y a aucune animation dans l’hôtel, c’est presque trop silencieux et fantomatique. Cet hôtel ne vaut pas 5 étoiles et est trop cher pour les prestations proposées. Un 3 étoiles avec des tarifs moins élevés et vous obtiendrez un hôtel convenable.

Hotel is ok but hardly what could be called a spa so not a relaxing experience. Children and babies use the spa incuding the jacuzzi which I found odd. It is only certain times of the day children use it but that does involve ball games and water fights. The steam room never worked fully whilst I was there. A spa in my mind is somewhere you have a relaxing experience and I was comparing it to UK standards if I had known children were permitted at anytime I would never have booked it.
