The size is unexpectedly large, with 14 tatami mats in the entrance hall, and the toilets are separated into dry and wet areas to create three floors. Every detail from hanging paintings to tea is in place. The hot springs in the hotel are great. The open-air hot springs on the rooftop. Amazing hotel near Nagaragawa River! I really enjoyed the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast in the morning, on top of the open air bath.

NO TATTOOS. Is the first sign you see when checking in. Perhaps if you have a small discrete tattoo, they will still permit you to use their hot-baths on site. Ideal for couples, seniors, less so for families with children. The beds were quite hard. The in-room food service was very good, as was the breakfast buffet. Both indoor and outdoor onsen was very nice, with the outdoor one having a nice view of Gifu Castle.
