The swimming pool is a bit small. The location is not good as it is in the middle of an alley.
The rooms are spacious and large, the breakfast is decent and the staff are friendly.
It's hard to come out when it rains because of the puddles in the alleys.
No intention to revisit

Great villa for a romantic getaway. The villa is beautiful, great private pool, well equipped kitchen to cook as well, bathroom was spacious but hope they can change the hairdryer because its too slow, friendly and helpful staff. All in all a super great stay!
The cons would be the location of the villa its a bit in the inland of the island about 5-7mins bike ride from the jetty / town centre, walking can take upwards to 15mins so do rent a bike right away when you arrive at the jetty or you could ride the horse carriage if you’re not bothered by the white people none sense. When at night the roads can be dark so make sure to bring flashlights and when it’s raining the roads can be a bit muddy.

Utara Villas was our best stay in Bali. We took one of the two room villas with private swimming pool and the staff made it such a comfortable and pleasant experience for us. You can rent bikes, book private or group boat tours, join workshops, etc. They have a lot of offerings. If we ever go back to Gili islands, we will definitely stay at Utara Villas again.

As expected, the location is very disappointing.
To have dinner around the villa or to go to the mart, you have to ride a bicycle for at least 10 minutes and all the beaches are far.
The staff are so friendly and delivery is available from Jali to WhatsApp.

We stayed at Utara for 3 nights leading up the the New Year.
The service here was fantastic. Location was brillant as it was a hidden gem away from any business. We upgraded to the “Gold Honeymoon package” which included bicycles to get around on which was fabulous and very convenient, romantic dinner for 2, massage and a private snorkeling trip on a glass boat. Was very fun! Thank you for the amazing stay and excellent service. Highly recommend!

I am a very picky traveller looking for white gloves experiences... Don't look any further if you wish to visit fantastic Gili Trawangan... This place is magic, and the entire staff is awesome... Gili islands are like Thailand 20 years ago, and the local population is so welcoming. Avoid the crowds of cheap tourists, this is your place
