The temperature of the swimming pool is great. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. But the photos promised to be sent to my email have not yet been sent to me. When staying in their hotel, you have to hide the food. We packed a piece of pasta and waited until we wanted to eat it, but the cat knocked it over and ate it all.

An oasis in the center of the island. The villa is very good and the staff is very friendly, they helped us with restaurants, renting bikes, transfer to the port... very helpful at reception. You had 3 breakfast options that were brought to you at the time you chose.

To begin with, the location is 150m from a landfill where the waste was burned the day we arrived on the island, emitting toxic smoke day and night. The manager recommended that we stay in the rooms despite the smoke, saying that the problem was everywhere on the island. Locked in a room where the air was becoming unbreathable, I feared a fire, but after 20 minutes someone came to clean the pool of all the ashes despite the smoke, so we decided to go out to look for some water. fresh air. And further, surprise, no smoke, no fire! Unacceptable that the manager did not think about protecting our health and that of our children, preferring to hide the truth from us. In order to manage the problem, we were forced to leave our children in a SPA so that they would not breathe the smoke. After much discussion, the manager finally agreed to reimburse the 2 night extension (4+2 nights booked because we had trusted the far too flattering photos) but still had 4 nights left. He offers to reimburse us for the first night but tells us that we must come back the next day to check that the fire is out. We therefore change hotels with all our suitcases (by cart) and return the next afternoon (by cart...). Very pleasant coming and going for a vacation... The wind having turned in their favor, we felt almost nothing. But at the beginning of the evening the wind calmed down, the stench of smoke was present all night and in the morning, it was nauseating and our throats stung. The smell of smoke had not disappeared from the living room, although we had left it to air all night, and our clothes stank. The manager refused to reimburse us for the stay under pressure from the director, we decided to lose the remaining nights because health is priceless. Even if they believe the problem is unrelated to the hotel, the guest does not have to pay for it and be held hostage during a long-awaited vacation. The director's motto: either you stay or you leave, but I'll keep your money! Even if I sold you a dream. So don't be fooled by the seductive photos, you will find much better services in Bali for the same price. The beaches on one side or the other are more of a 15-20 minute walk if you have children, and the dirt roads are not as passable as on the west and south of the island which is paved. The air is still breathable there. We are surprised by such positive comments, if you are used to traveling with great villa amenities, really don't linger here.
