Good clean friendly old pub style accomodation. Right on highway the front rooms get some road noise from trucks going by.

This is an old style Australian "rooms above a pub" hotel so its a different experience from a regular hotel. It has more of a communal vibe about it. There is a shared bathroom and small kitchen at the end of the hall for meals. The food at the pub is great and good portions and there is a playground next to the eating area for the kids which is fenced in. Theres a big beer garden out the back of the pub. The facilities are clean and beds comfy and yiu can help yourself to free cereal and toast with spread in the kitchen for breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful. Book the rooms on the back side if you aren't a fan of road noise as its right on the bruce highway and the trucks are loud. Overall a nice stay.

All I can say is below average. Waited over an hour for the food. Poor girl serving did her best but they were really busy and no help in sight. This is the third and last time we try this place. I like to give people a chance, but come on. You've got a great area from a beer garden perspective, except where you're eating, people are smoking and the smoke goes into your food. The food came finally, just really average. Not worth the over hour wait. Just wanted a quick lunch. Suggest you pick your game up Gin Gin Hotel. You have a great location and plenty of room. Shame about the quality.

The staff were excellent, but the phone number listed on Wotif confirmation was for completely different property who claimed not to have anything to do with Gin Gin hotel. Took me ages to actually get through to the hotel, as their number wasnt listed directly anywhere.

The ladies at the bar where really friendly! I got flooded out from home and had milk so they offered to put it in the big fridge for me! So a huge thank you!
The only thing that needs doing is the cutlery draw and shelves in the guest shared kitchen needs cleaning but other than that the rooms were clean and comfortable!
At least I could have a warm shower and a bed to sleep in as I was so wet from the rain and not being able to get home! The best price in town.
