The room was very nice, comfortable beds and everything we needed. There were dispensers for shampoo and body wash in the shower. The shower was very small but served its purpose. We had the room with a bunk bed above a king size bed. It was big enough for two 14 year old boys to sleep together up top. The lady at check-in and check-out was very nice as was the lady at the bar. The room came with breakfast and dinner included which was buffet. This is where our stay wasn't so good. Dinner was okay, there were a few cold salads to choose from and then 3 pots of hot food. The first night it was pork ribs, potatoes and a mixed vegetable....it was just okay. The second night was pasta and meat sauce or rice and a brown sauce. My Danish boyfriend was looking forward to breakfast, saying it should be really good if they bragged about it being award winning. He said breakfast is done really well in Scandinavia. We were very disappointed!! Breakfast had a few loaves of bread as well as lunch meats and cheeses. Then there was a pot of tasteless bacon, a pot of eggs that were scrambled but in a puddle of liquid and a pot of oa**eal. You could also get soft boiled eggs that were cold and not soft boiled, yogurt with berries, pancakes, a few choices of fresh fruit and a dried up fruit cobbler. Breakfast was served 7:30-10 and we arrived just before 9am so half way through the time. We ate some bread with lunchmeat and then returned for some pancakes but they were empty and so was the cobbler ever since we arrived. I asked the attendant if there were more coming and she replied in Swedish so I couldn't really understand, but got the point that there were no more. Another lady, who seemed to be in charge, came out and heard me complain to my boyfriend that these items were sold out and she (quite rudely but at least in english) replied that there WAS another cobbler in the oven and there were no more pancakes. She had made 80 and there were no more to be had in the hotel!! So 80 pancakes for an entire hotel of guests. I had to ask for the Nutella, peanut butter and jam that had been out for the pancakes so I could at least smear a bit of that on a piece of bread instead of more lunchmeat, as they had already been put away. They were cleaning up the buffet as quickly as they could and seemed bothered by us. I felt bad for the ones that came after us as it was half cleared. The employees wore shirts that said "Feel Like Home"...I certainly didn't feel at home.
