Lovely hotel and staff, very friendly and welcoming. Room was an excellent size and bed very comfy. A bad smell from the toilet, but closing the door prevented it from coming into the room.

Surprised at how well the property was. The Easter holidays unfortunately had the hotel facilities not operating at full capacity but on the whole the cleanliness and service that we received was excellent. Gladstone as a whole was a surprise packet!

Probably the best hotel in Gladstone. Check in is easy with friendly receptionists, rooms are always extremely clean and even the smallest are a good size. Beds are great, although as with every hotel in the world, the shower roses are not the best and probably require replacing. Close to restaurants and bars, 5 minute walk at the most.

The Oaks is always our go to accommodation in Gladstone. The price is always favourable, staff are friendly and helpful. Free drink on arrival is a nice bonus. The rooms are well maintained and well set out for a couple.

Truly awful
threadbare and fraying carpets, a drawer held together with gaffer tape and shabby curtains.
we were charged AUD 20 (plus a 30 cent credit card processing fee) for a cot with no bedding and left on the floor for us to put up.
The icing on the cake was the fact that when we arrived, we were told that there would be no breakfast in the morning as it was a public holiday and the general manager had decided to close the restaurants for 2 days.

All staff encountered were excellent - quick, efficient, engaging, proactive and very helpful. Room was excellent with all facilities needed. We had excellent quiet night sleep. Hotel was clean, modern and seemed brand new build. Location was great, right in middle of town.

This hotel is central to the downtown area. It is one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. The room was large and had amenities we have never seen in a hote room before. The staff are friendly and informative. The restaurant and coffee shop are convenient and tasty. Overall great place. One of the best we’ve stayed in.

This hotel was much better than we expected for the price, the staff were fantastic it was very clean and well maintained. The food was great in particular the Grand Steak. The room was large and had a good view.
