The room was the size of a matchbox, I complained top the check in manager and he stated that it was the original part of the hotel, so that was why it was so small - a disgrace to pay €206 for this, which was nothing like the pictures on your website - as total con

First time here. A hidden gem for quality food, excellent service and unbelievable value in Ireland. €5 for a fantastic pint of Guinness in a hotel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner faultless. Staff are 11/10 .. just can’t do enough when asked to help.

We had a great stay in this lovely hotel. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had and it was served to you rather than having to queue up to be served. Small issue, we were given a disabled accessible room and probably would have preferred to be given a choice as to whether we wanted this.

Posto adorabile, un ottimo hotel assolutamente piacevole anche per lo standard italiano. Camere piuttosto ampie, bel bagno, doppia possibilità di cena in loco in quanto l'hotel non solo ha un "pub" ma anche un ristorante al primo piano quindi di scelta ce n'è abbastanza. Personale cordiale, disponibile... delizioso. Consiglio vivamente, anche la colazione è molto buona e particolare in quanto non è solo a buffet come la maggior parte degli hotel, ma ad ordinazione ognuno può scegliere da un menù ci che preferisce e lo preparano al momento. Ci siamo trovati molto bene. La stazione dei bus è a due passi, quindi comoda anche a quella!

I brought my sister there for dinner on April 5th and was totally disappointed with the service, food was appalling, total lack of interest in customers, tables uncleared and no one checked or cared if everything was ok with us. Was very cold also.

Hidden gem of a hotel retaining a lot of its character but adding quality furnishings. A touch of quality like home from home.
Room was small but the decor was warm and comfortable and the bed one of the best I’ve ever slept in during my nights away (100 nights per years!)
Staff friendly and helpful and food and dining typically ‘country Ireland’ but quality and a lovely roaring stove fire to keep you warm.

Went for food with family. Waited for over 30 mins and nobody came to serve us. Had to go up and get menus myself and still another 15 mins nobody came to serve us. Eventually we decided to leave. Not the first time this has happened and they are notorious for slow service. Lovely place but a pity they can't get their act together when it comes to service.
